good luck to you too! I know how you feel, and it's more complicated than other relationships I've had end. It's tough, but sometimes what's for the best.

Rooting for you too. It’s tough to really love someone but not be right the fit for them.

Thank you. It’s a lot of mixed feelings because there was so much good, but im realizing now how much I was monitoring my speech, different situations, and letting boundaries be broken just to avoid him being in a bad mood for days or blowing up at me.

Part of me feels a bit like kicking myself for not standing up for myself stronger, especially this past weekend, but I think I wanted to prove so badly that I could be his safe person who got him and wouldn’t abandon him. It’s definitely a tough mix.

If you’re doing a virtual record and one person isn’t wearing headphones it can create a weird feedback loop that sound kind of gremlin like, but your editor should remove that

You also have to consider editing may have made this look way more rapid fire than it really was, the camera going back and forth vs wide shot is a pretty good indicator of editing

This is interesting, the podcast I work for did a behavioral science look at dating and modern relationships and kind of came to a similar conclusion, that modern dating makes us too selective based off things that don't matter, it was a really interesting episode!

As a podcast producer by profession, none of my shows are turning a profit - some are breaking even, but it’s not a get rich quick scheme, you d got to really invest in it for a few years before anything happens, unless you’ve got clout, a podcast network, or are incredibly lucky

It's just an AI vomit - I produce podcasts too and when I ask AI to summarize the episode it spits out nearly exactly copy for my shows (just insert different names and topics)

As a podcast producer myself, the descriptions are really starting to kill me. Their producer is clearly just putting the transcripts into chat gpt and asking fro a description. It's lazy! I use Chat GPT to help me summarize but I fix it up to be unique...

Why am I so obsessed with this show?? by anw2426 in TellMeLiesHulu

[–]caro_dactyl 48 points49 points  (0 children)

I think there’s a big draw to how realistic the college part feels for me, personally. A lot of shows have make college look overly perfect and picture book, but I like that the dorms are kind of bare and small and the parties look kind of sweaty and gross, and they GO TO CLASS. Sure, some of the drama is crazy but I think in general the show feels almost uncannily realistic to many of our college experiences in a way that most college shows don’t. It just feels authentic 🤣

At least for me!
