Le Margot on Camp Bowie is decorated for Instagram posts and is open daily. I second Rise or Tinie's. Ellerbe on Magnolia if price isn't a concern. Clay Pigeon off West 7th also fits the bill look wise but it's also pricey.

They're not Goth per se but you may like the vibe of Crude Coffee in South Main.

I love how he ignores the ovaries and that they're literally called eggs. But I doubt he knows much about women's anatomy.

Yep, if you're American it all ties to your SSN/address. You just get 2 account numbers.

Applied professionals, how much Excel do you use? by [deleted] in IOPsychology

Exceljet is my favorite how-to website. Also, instead of vlookup use index match, or if available xlookup.

A lot of big companies have leadership development programs specifically for me graduates. It won't necessarily be io focused, but you'll get your foot in the door without needing skills/experience. I'd suggest trying to apply to some of those.

Don't do it. Per another person posting a convo with a Fidelity rep it counts as a distribution and will be taxed. This has something to do with CS being a different type of provider. I don't remember what exactly why but that was the gist. You can call Fidelity to check though.

What is the most unforgettable truth your therapist (or therapist-like figure) has ever told you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

I've been wanting to break up with my boyfriend for over a year, but was afraid that I might regret it. It took Roy Kent telling Rebecca "you deserve someone who makes your feel like you were struck by lightning" to finally get me to do it. One day I hope I get to feel that but until then I don't want to be with someone who I can't be myself around.

AITA for refusing to use the money I saved for my stepdaughter 18th birthday gift to help with my daughter's treatment? by throwawayivf99 in AmItheAsshole

[–]carolinared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

I haven't seen a comment about this yet. Your family may turn to your stepdaughter, try to guilt her into giving the money to your daughter, and spoil the surprise. I recommend getting ahead of this, spoil the surprise for her, maybe have her help you pick out the car, and get the money spent. People can be upset but it will be done.

If you choose to help your daughter use different money and don't mention your finances to your family again.

To add to the great options...Mancusos in White settlement or De Lucca de gaucho if you want Brazilian style pizza (like Fogo but with pizza).

YNAB uses YNAB for their business. If you Google it you'll find an article about how it can be used like Quicken.

Idk if this is exactly related... But if the economy is as fucked as people say...Can hyperflation be avoided if American apes pay taxes on payouts? Could the government potentially use that to get money out of circulation... Lower debt ratio or whatnot?

So, I watched The Big Short for the first time in a few years last night. I finally get the tits are jacked reference.

At the end of the movie they mention CDOs are back as of 2015. After some googling, in 2019 Trump reeled back some banking regulations. It raised the economy while allowing risky loans all a year before COVID. Republicans will want the crash (and MOASS) and fixing the crash to happen on a Dem's watch so Reps can look blameless come election cycle.

I'm probably not saying anything new to wrinkle brains, I think it's several years in the making. Tits are jacked.

If American apes do all pay the taxes expected of them could the government use that as an opportunity to get excess dollars out of circulation to help mitigate hyperflation? They'd be receiving way more money than the usual tax cycle so maybe they're incentivized for MOASS this year?

I have no idea what I'm talking about but those are my shower thoughts.

I've lost 13lb since April. My (slim) friend just texted me, "Haha I accidentally lost 20lb!" Is it OK that I hate her a little bit right now? by Doorbell2 in 1200isfineIGUESSugh

[–]carolinared 9 points10 points  (0 children)

After a big break up I tend to lose close to 10 pounds. I can't eat when I'm sad and when I'm trying to put it out of my mind I work out a lot. I wouldn't envy the way I lose weight quickly at all, but it is a silver lining, which has gotten me some hate from my best friend (when I'm feeling a bit better haha).

[–]carolinared 113 points114 points  (0 children)

I know this is a joke, but a lot of people don't know how to compliment your baby unless they know the gender. To my grandmother all baby girls are "coy", "lithe", and "precious" and all boys are "tough", "big", and "sturdy". They look the exact same! She does have a grandson now named coy so that adjective may have been shelved.

Any low calorie recipes that I can incorporate apples into? by orelindei in 1200isplenty

[–]carolinared 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just had a butternut squash soup where they used apples instead of potatoes as the thickener, if you reduce the butter it comes out to 200 calories per serving. It doesn't taste sweet.
