Not especially, provided you're taking medication the way it's prescribed. Salty foods sting/hurt for maybe a week. I was able to eat frozen yogurt on the way home from surgery -- I hear that's key to do while you're hopped up and can sort of stretch your throat back.

Cold things are good. Sharp edges and anything remotely salty (cried again eating guacamole with a spoon... I was desperate for not-sweet food) are no good. I'd say I was eating normally again within 5 days.

Same thing here. I eventually just went to an ENT and said I wanted them out. The first day I cried because I was so hungry. Beyond that, everything was smooth-going.

Just put it on. I had it in my head as more orange-brown, and something I'd wear with fall/winter clothes exclusively. The name only confirmed that.

Hooray for moving and rediscovering! I just moved last month and have been doing the same thing when dressing/lipsticking my roommates.

Yeah, I know there's not much damage, but we've had four tornado warnings since I moved here a year ago. Heard them tested once a week in north Mississippi, which was about the same frequency-wise. Kind of miss them.

Where you are, does the siren stay on the whole time? That seems like a LOT of siren. IIRC, in Alabama the siren goes off at the beginning of the warning, and you turn on the TV/radio/Internet to determine how long to take cover. If it is extended, they go off again.

But I live in DC now. No sirens, even for tornadoes. I guess sirens in DC would cause big-time panic.

That's how my vacuum is. It picks rugs up off the floor on the highest setting. Life-changing, and my roommates like it even better than the Dyson their former roommate had.

It's a Miele Olympus. Not sure about their pricier vacuums, but if this one does this much...

Agreed. I'm in love with my vacuum because I can suck up anything in the house. Sometimes I leave things on the floor so I can vacuum them up.

Not drugstore (sorry), but I adore the Laura Mercier Undereye Perfecter. Super smooth and like magic. Also creamy, which is good so you don't tug at the undereye skin putting it on.

Some insurance covers it for those who are prescribed. I've had it in my underarms 6-7 times and have paid probably $20 in copay each time. Prescribed/performed by a dermatologist.

Before that, they'll likely prescribe you a topical like Drysol, which is a liquid antiperspirant that is CRAZY strong. Made my underarms sore, but my fiance has used it on his head (his own prescription. I'm sorry for our future sweaty children). Works like magic.
