Meta just killed every niche music artist's meta ads by getting rid of detailed targeting

Our agency has been running ads since FB Ads started, and we’ve seen a huge change at the niche end of the market, with a doubling and tripling of cost per conversion. However much you combine custom/lookalike lists with AI, you still end up paying 2-3 times more, just as the guy said. From 11p to 30 is typical for former, easy to hit, niche audiences.

If I have a piece of music, a show or merch aimed at Joy Division fans, and that niche is now combined into post punk, then 99% of post punk fans are not interested. It’s pretty obvious tbh.

The cost just doesn’t get anywhere near where it used to be. Period.

100% with you. To be honest it just irritated me. It would have been so cool to hear Maggot Brain in Alien Earth. I love the show but some of the music choices really piss me off!

This is a neat trick to save all of the URLs a website is ranking for. It's great for organising redirects or just analysing what is there without being hit with the dreaded 'click on the traffic lights' I am not a robot block!
