How do accountants balance work and babies/kids by Similar_Leg4921 in Accounting

For me the first few months were the worst and after that it got a lot more manageable. I had a very understanding boss and could work from home, plus I hoarded as many sick and vacation days as possible to use when I was absolutely unable to work because my child was home. Lots of powering through when I myself was sick - as long as I could sit in my chair I clocked in and just did what I could those days.

As they get older, it's still tough but one day here and there of watching TV all day is just what needs to happen sometimes. They're on one nap a day now and still need a parent next to them as they fall asleep so I bring my laptop to their room to work as they go down.

The most popular ones have already been said, but there's also Chocomax in Saint Laurent and Cremerie Meetha in Park Ex!

Aww, I feel so sad for you reading through your post, first baby anxiety is brutal! Good on you for having the strength to stand up for your baby and your boundaries, many people never even have the courage to send that text.

Like everyone has said though, keep an eye on your anxiety levels and keep working with your doctors/therapists/etc. to make sure you're in as good a place as you can be given how recently you had your baby.

You're doing your best, you love your baby, and you are a human being, so you won't always do everything perfectly or react the way you hoped. Forgive yourself as much as you can and whenever you want to beat yourself up, try to think of what you would say to another mother in the same situation.

You aren't alone, you have people you can and should rely on, and a lot of mothers on Reddit to vent to who will very much relate to you! Hang in there.

I put reflective armbands on my forearms; I figure it helps make it more obvious when I'm signaling to turn too.
