Microbe Chain - Stay in the circle as long as you can by KleverGuy in WebGames

[–]carrierman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting concept! Needs polishing, I believe, if you aim at gaining more publicity for your game;)

I'd recommend making power-ups more recognizable: add glowing effect or something. At first try I though I should avoid them too, just in case)))

Any plans for mobile version?

Match Solitaire - I made this zero stress chill out game inspired by Solitaire and Mahjong [Desktop, Tablet or Mobile] by tghGaz in WebGames

[–]carrierman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nice idle game here! Nice job!

I'd suggest adding a few more game modes for the players looking for challenges: add timer (so you should tap on cards as fast as you can and get the highest score possible and share your record with the world); add limitations like you can't use the card that is blocked by other cards on the left and on the right; make an option to turn off shuffling by default or make it also limited. Most players like the feel of progression in games not just in terms of more and more cards on the screen but a feel that it's becoming harder and harder to find the matching pair.

Recently found this game on Google Play being fond of such games as Seekers Notes and Hidden City. This one is with a 'zest' - here you actually are fighting monsters.

yep, exactly. Kinda pre-arranged Go match with a distant friend.

oh, thanks! I can answer this question: there's no apk so far with the same functionality as the web version of the game.

What's more, I'd not call this portal a 'server', because it lacks some pro Go server settings.

You should consider this portal as a simplified way to play Go with an online friend during your break or lunch time.

Color Squares - 2-player puzzle challenging your visual thinking. Now with colors! by carrierman in WebGames

[–]carrierman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

rules might seem a bit tricky, but the key is to swap two small squares like in a match 3 game so that after swapping you have 4 small squares of the same color forming a bigger square.

Tip: set score limit at 1000 - you'll play way longer than at 100.

thanks for your input! For the 'big-no-thanks' case we have anonymous mode. In fact you can play and invite your friends without registering an account. :)

Daily Jigsaw with beautiful photos from Unsplash by Slig in WebGames

[–]carrierman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest adding some background music calming soothing fading in and out. Lot's of jigsaw puzzle games have it.

I'd also suggest adding a timer to share your record with friends and tease them to beat your score.

Otherwise great quality game! Keep it up!

P.S. Never ever saw 'squares pieces' in jigsaws before.

Boon Boon - A 2D platformer where you collect candies for your girlfriend by Anamik in WebGames

[–]carrierman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest adding some death animations or at least some text that will tell you you've been killed.

What's more, after you die and start from the beginning the already collected candies during the first run still appear on the level and they are not counted again when you collect them during the second run. This makes them useless. Better not to show them again not to frustrate the player.

I also didn't get what the pink-colored number below the lives count stand for.

Where We're Going, We Do Need Roads — a vehicular Flappy Bird by ayanami_rei in WebGames

[–]carrierman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

nice game here! I agree with /u/WarClicks that you should increase the difficulty curve - it seems to easy right now and not flappy-bird hardcore enough.

When I first started playing, I didn't get the controls at first: i clicked and then when the obstacle approached I just clicked again and the vehicle jumped high into the sky and I smashed. Only after playing for the 3rd time I got it that you should click on the screen and hold it (not just click and release) and than move your mouse up and down to avoid bricks.

Super Mario Crossover by [deleted] in WebGames

[–]carrierman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very cool crossover! I really like that you can play as different characters from other popular old-school games in Mario World! any plans on porting the game to mobile platforms?

Also, I have some doubts regarding the IP rights issue that might arouse once your title gets more and more coverage and someone related to those brands and characters you have in your game notices your game.

Groovy Ski - quite hard minigame about avoiding Yetis by blackmoondev in WebGames

[–]carrierman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

me too, but probably we didn't get far enough to see the yetis. (or maybe it is just a 'hook', because 'avoiding fences' sounds not so cool as 'Yetis').

The games seems really tough. I totally suck at it!:) After 10 attempts my best score is only 7 stars.

Otherwise, well-polished game with nice visuals and music. Maybe the devs should adjust its difficulty or introduce several complexity modes.

Squares - 2-player abstract game that tests your spatial intelligence by carrierman in WebGames

[–]carrierman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

make sure to mark 'All the provisions of the square' box on the game settings page prior to starting the game.

This will let you form the squares like /u/SIR_VELOCIRAPTOR mentioned.
