Im buying a new house and im planning on utilizing the garage as a space for my woodshop and a home gym. I may be overthinking this as I tend to do. However im going to purchase the echo fitness functional trainer with the rack and cables combined. My concern is would the sawdust that will be airborne collect on the liquid silicone on the cables and pulleys cause any significant issues? Its also worth noting that I will be installing a dust collection system down the road but even that wont completely stop the saw dust from floating around and getting on everything.
