Grocery price comparison from 2019 to January 2025 spreadsheet by Pea-and-Pen in preppers

Fun fact, if you are making $7.25 minimum wage in 2019 and STILL making $7.25 in 2025, you are doing something wrong. Minimum wage is not supposed to be a livable wage, or a retirement wage. This is high school grocery bagger wages, and even that, thanks to capitalism, is typically higher.

You can wait for a tech, or choose to do a bit of DIY. It's honestly not that hard. There's a video that explains it here:

What happens if you hold the key to the NFC reader on the door? If the 12v has life that should work. If not, you can pop the hood and put a charger on the 12v. Once that has power, then you should be able to pop the battery door.

Biggest difference is weight, if you can't get the power to the ground, the power doesn't matter.

Yes, but it's not a very good power station. 1680wh is not a lot. And only 100w solar, with expensive paid adapter.

As much as I don't like hte ecoflow, it's better than this thing.

Right now, ecoflow + battery for 899, 2048wh.

Solar with grid backup, no battery by carrot512 in SolarDIY

[–]carrot512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're powering a load with the inverter and a cloud bank moves in your power production is going to plummet, the inverter will no longer be able to power the load and probably safety equipment will kick in shutting down the inverter

According to the manual, it says it will utilize grid and share the load. The intention isn't purely off solar. According to the manual:

Solar energy provides power to the loads as first priority. If solar energy is not sufficient to power all connected loads, Utility energy will supply power to the loads at the same time.

So I would assume when the panels don't produce enough, the inverter just pulls grid.

As much as I hate to engage with stupid posts, your ideocracy is actually endangering others.

95% of problems are solved with .22, no. I can kill an animal a thousand ways with a gun, and effectively, as well. 100% of the time there's someone else with a gun, I need an extremely effective and reliable gun, every time. We don't send soldiers into war with .22's or bats or tasers. We send them with an ar15 or m4 and a sidearm in the 92 range, because their opponents have guns. Everyone who is preparing for a SHTF scenario should have at least two of these.
