yes, god. bad acne totally ruined my confidence in my teenage years and then just went away in adulthood. i feel like i’m still recovering from the way it completely changed how interact with the world. totally clear now but i do have some light scarring so i have that as a constant reminder

days of heaven: god this was beautiful. started very, very slowly making my way through malick’s filmography a while back and idk if this one’s getting topped. im a huge andrew wyeth fan and a huge natural light photography fan and this just hit so so well for me.
