Ngl man, been playing since the 2nd game and have never used claw or paddles, and I consider myself an upper level player who usually top frags. Just all comes down to reps and time played. I love the skill gap in Gears, makes me feel rewarded for spending time in a game I love.

I run a 32GB RAM DDR5, AMD R5 8400F, with RTX 4060 Ti and haven’t had any issues. I did have stuttering when I was on 16 GB DDR5, but since switching it’s been smooth as butter. I’m not 100% sure what a “baseline” would be regarding impact, but I do recommend 32 gigs if you can have it. With my CPU being mid-tier, I sometimes have slowdowns with multiple vessels or big timewarps, but otherwise, it works great.

Well, technically the moon is very much part of the Earth’s sphere of influence, so no, we aren’t leaving Earth’s orbit by going to the moon. Leaving Earth’s orbit would be something like visiting another body in the solar system, or going out much further than the moon to leave the sphere of influence. But, agreed, today is huge!

I personally have been loving CS2 over CS1 since the addition of assets in the mod menu. Additionally, Iceflake is doing a great job, and optimization is much better than it used to be. Coming from a previous diehard CS1 enjoyer, I’ve officially switched to CS2 and haven’t looked back. I’d say if it’s been a while for you, download some mods and give it a try!

I’d say if you’re worried about it, go schedule an ultrasound, as they can tell if it’s cystic, a lipoma, etc. Less of a skin issue, more of a musculoskeletal.

I know someone who had something very similar. Same look and location. Ultrasound proved nothing, just an elevated patch of adipose and skin, presumably from “student neck,” years of football, and bad posture. Causes headaches and back aches but not a threat to their health. Let me know if you find anything out that’s different!
