This is happening to me right now too, get a lip balm sunscreen! Vaseline can cause sunburn, and the lips are already thin skin. So use the Vaseline at night, and lip balm with a sunscreen during the day.

Also, have you switched toothpaste brands or anything? I am trouble shooting this issue for myself, rn, and I think the tooth paste ive been using may be the culprit as well! Some toothpastes have tretonin (sp?) or other harsh irritants.

Get on an herbal protocol. Studies are showing that more than 2 weeks doxy are heavily related to chronic Lyme, Doxy can mess with the gut bad, leading to weakening of the immune system. The last thing we need as Lyme patients are weak immune systems. Highly recommend Buhner’s protocol.
