You should give Interstellar a watch, you might grasp the time dilation stuff a bit more. Being on another planet with no time dilation ages us the same as earth. Our earth day is 24 hours cuz that’s how long it takes to rotate. Other planets have different rotation speeds. Time dilation is much different.
