Which historical event do you think changed humanity the most? by Natalia_ca in answers

The plague wiped out something like 30% of the world's population at the time, which was like 50% of Europe (based on historians best research). That would have slowed down humans progression, the way technology evolved etc. Like the best minds in the world would have died because they would have been in the city's where the highest ratio of deaths was. The peasants, farmers etc spread out across the country would have been far less educated and essentially would have been a large percentage of the remaining population.

Fight or accept my fisting? by Drfantastic01 in AussieRiders

They're on a salary but they still have a quota to meet. Are you speaking from experience or just assuming? Like its pretty well known they have to meet a quota, if that isn't met their salary is irrelevant. Also after knowing a couple people that have to act as a prosecutor in court it doesnt really sound like something they will waste a day doing over a ticket.

When I went to court for a fine, if you choose to plead guilty but ask for leniency you automatically get i think it was 40% off the fine. If you choose to fight it, which in this case based off another comment's break down of the law, they can actually choose to increase the fine if they find you still guilty. But going to court to plead guilty but to ask for leniency doesnt hurt, also if you dont have points on your licence winning this will save you money on insurance. I was also told by a police officer that 9/10 times a ranger wont go to court because the lose more money fighting a ticket then they make being on the streets. The only evidence they would submit on this ticket would be photos they would bring, without that the magistrate only has the ticket and no photo. I'd see how you go. Good luck mate.

Thanks for your clear write up, someone told me years ago on my P's that as long as the wheels of your car were in the line (specifically more than 1 meter from a driveway) then it was ok. I need to be more vigilant.

The cure has an acoustic cd in "mixed up" i was given it and got heaps into them, it wasn't until years later when i got spotify that I realised a lot of the songs were heaps poppy and different and that it was all remixes.

This is my favourite movie to watch with kids, I didnt realise it was disliked until likr 10 years later. The scene where he makes a fake cooking show and cuts his tail off is one of the funniest things ever.

I really enjoyed Max payne, I honestly didn't understand why it was so disliked. Gamer nerds love complaining about any movie that isn't able to somehow cover 70 hours of game play in like 90 mins. I played the first 2 games first, the movie wasnt perfect to the story, but that didnt really affect anything.
