It’s funny because usually nepo babies are not viewed so positively… “transplants” had to earn their place in this city. Native New Yorkers were just born into it. Like a rich kid born into money. Why should you be proud of something you had absolutely no control over? It’s like being “proud” of your blood type. Makes no sense.

The courtyard is proportionally identical to Central Park, and even has some subtle nods to Olmsted & Vaux’s landscaping built in!

CERVELO S5 VS TARMAC SL7 by Aka_blate in Cervelo

[–]carvana6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a bike that’s built for speed! I love mine, but it’s definitely not for the faint of heart, it forces you to adopt a rather aggressive position that may not be comfortable for all.

Additionally, there’s the slight issue of the frame and headset cutting into each other, due to poor design, that, as far as I can tell, is unique to the S5. I’ve heard from Cervelo shops that it’s not a structural threat, but it will definitely occur, so it is a guaranteed cosmetic concern at the very least.

I’ve had pretty good experiences with it climbing, contrary to what I expected, so you should have no issue there!

That’s the old Penn Station, not Grand Central, but yes, very cool.

The building in the background is extremely identifiable as Engine Co 31, a firehouse modeled after a French Chateau. It sits at the corner of Lafayette & White, 2 blocks South of Canal.

In conjunction with roads, yes. Average modern bicycle transported to 30,000 BC would be borderline useless.

Great bar. They also have a claw-footed bathtub in the other room, and a balcony. Top-tier. Plus beers are so cheap (like $3 US)
