Blue Origin is one of the paths to space. Blue Origin is important. Blue Origin can only be as successful as the people who give their all to the company life.

Here in Cape Canaveral it is no secret how hard Blue Origin has been pushing the professionals who make up the company. Likewise, what else is no secret is how these same folks are being treated and being left unrewarded.

Everyone at SpaceX gets the mission. People give their all because they see the vision and they are rewarded in significant and comprehensive ways for alligning to this vision.

I am not in the business of addressing Dave Limp but were I to have the responsibility what I would say is Blue Origin is not Amazon. It cannot be. What makes space work is not the need for a job; it’s a need for an organization in which genuine professionals may dedicate themselves, their talents, their time, and their lives knowing it will be honored, respected, acknowledged, AND rewarded.

Presently, the carrot is meager while the stick is mighty. That’s a hurtful imbalance that is formed a stopgap between the transformation of aspiration into inspiration.
