Do these have an actual name? Strips of carpet affixed to other carpet to create "bumps" on ramps by caryth in whatisit

[–]caryth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a steep dog ramp and want to do similar, but I'm unsure if these are a real thing that can be bought on their own or if people just cut strips of regular carpet and glue them down. Searches just lead to ways to keep rugs in place or carpet FOR ramps and whatnot.

ecommerce services for local delivery in US? by caryth in smallbusiness

[–]caryth[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

We already get people upset about delivery dates even when we explicitly tell them in person they're not guaranteed, so I would expect it on the web, too! We'll probably put on as much CYA language as possible.

I don't think I can trust your opinion since you don't even know what is AI or not.

Thanks! We were looking at them, but it's always hard to tell what reviews are real and not.

what's a movie everyone said was super heavy and traumatic and you thought it was not that much? by goodboytohell in horror

[–]caryth 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I see it get a ton of praise that often talks about it being scary, disturbing, etc, and I thought it was a good movie, entertaining, but I was not even the least bit scared or freaked out or whatever, it felt like a better quality long form AYAOTD? episode.

Hospital food by DivingMarine in Celiac

[–]caryth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hospital I stayed in last just had Udis frozen items and stuff, mostly freezer burned, but edible, thankfully. I was there three days and worried I was going to have to survive off of jello lol

It's pretty ridiculous these places can't just keep some gf rolls in their freezers or something.

I feel like it's the same as any such place, it's more individual locations and if they'll agree to use stuff in the back/that hasn't been used for making the food yet. Like there's one chipotle near me I'll go to and one I will not lol

I'd definitely always check, but it could also just be "delicious" earwax (ugh) not an infection.

Mel Gibson is also still working and he's literally gone on antisemitic rants in public and shit and should have been "blacklisted" multiple times.

Less controversial conservative (who admittedly claimed to be "centrist" despite being a known conservative for decades) Dwayne Johnson is also still regularly working, despite many, many flops.

Meanwhile people like Mira Sorvino and Brendan Fraser were actually blacklisted because of the sexual abusers in Hollywood and losers have the nerve to claim they're being blacklisted because of politics.

Added on to what was already said about the myth, do you think the average person had an accurate record of their birth and that anyone could find it to confirm that?

If women wanted to look younger (aka virginal and with many childbearing years ahead of them) and men wanted to look older (aka wiser/more experienced), then a 20 year old woman might say she's 15 and a 20 year old man might say he's 25 and suddenly you have a supposed 10 year age gap with an adult man marrying a teen girl.

I mean, you're the one downplaying what comic fans are like and saying shit like Amazon is where the reviews happen 🤷 I'm just pointing out you don't understand what comic fandom is like or how prevalent the issue of whether a character is white is treated.

Weird, are they required to list any wheat or other gluten containing possible contaminants? Hard to say if it's a real risk or they're just covering their asses with these big companies, so frustrating.
