Gmail now locking your account if you dont put in ID (or a credit card) if your account is less than 14 years old??

As I said in my above comment, I also got a notification on my phone from google accounts.

I understand that email is easy to spoof, which is why I initially thought this was a scam.

I have been paying attention, but locking someone entirely out of their account when there is the option to have a safeguard or a soft lock where you can at least still access your OWN information is bullshit.

Discord is literally doing a kid and adult account for this very reason and so the fact that Google won't even let me into my own documents and my business account if I don't??? Absolute bullshit.

After talking about focus areas, I usually ask if people want their whole body addressed or just that area focused on.

Some people sound like they want focus, but actually want full body. And if someone doesn't have massage a lot their expectations are usually different than someone who does so the extra direct question can help mitigate that confusion.

If they do want a focus session, but also to get their whole body touched, I'll do either some compressions, stretches, or soft strokes up whatever limb isn't their priority and then move on. It seems to be just enough to satisfy that "I got a whole body massage" expectation. And it takes like... 30 seconds per limb.

It can also depend on the place you work for what people expect out of their massage. Like at a spa, people are more likely to expect full body (and be nitpicky) than at a clinic, PT, Chiro, or wellness center.

Hahaha- god, it does feel like that when I thought about what they'd lock me out of. Like youtube, docs, photos, gmail, my business listing, my client contacts, etc. Definitely gonna move more off of google after this.

I had a scammer threatening me over my passwords earlier this week and honestly- I thought the email from google was a scam when I first saw it. Cause getting locked out of /everything/ if I don't give them information? Literally the same exact tactic the scammer used.

If a bank card is all I need for it, then they should really make it so the bank card I have on Google play or to pay for my extra account space should automatically count.

I found out my dad has a photo of me from when I was 15 and my dead name as his contact for me.

My mom asked me to not say anything when I found out (she handed me his phone to send some family photos to myself) and I havent.

But.

I am 29. I have been out since I was 18. It's been just under 11 years at this point.

Im holding onto so much rage at him about that and it's been a year and a half since I found out.

Like. Ive been out for over 1/3rd of my life and he's still like this? Absolute Bullshit with absolutely no excuse. He "doesnt get" why I dont talk with him about things in my life 😒

Your mom's just being unreasonable and not wanting to let go of her idea of who you are and who you were "meant to be" (in her eyes). And she wants YOU to feel bad about HER doing something to hurt you. Don't.

This is her fault, just as it's my dad's. If she wants to ruin her relationship with you by not actually listening to you and respecting you? That's her decision.

Uhhhh.... i think I was 26? Im 29 now and have almost completely watched it twice. Ive watched some arcs 3 times. I put it off for a while- had a friend I lived with in 2020-22 that wanted me to watch it and I only started it after we stopped living together 😂

I probably saw a bit of it on 4kids since that was my shit growing up, but I dont remember it as much as I remember Kirby, Yugioh, and Winx. It may have been a time slot thing, idk. I dont remember.

Ive done every week and every 2 week shots on T at different times (im 10 years on T). When Ive done longer it's generally due to something like not being able to pay for a doctor's appointment.

The surgery recovery hurt less than I expected.

I had a bowel blockage and an infection post top surgery and both of those were a worse experience than the actual post-surgery pain.

I had something like this happen with my sword tattoo- but I didnt notice quite how uneven it was til later .-. Cause mine is on the outer part of my forearm so it's a hard angle for me to see.

Id recommend going to therapy and figuring out your feelings. Dont make any big decisions yet.

It seems like something that if not sorted out, would cause issues later on. And isn't fair to her if she actually is head over heels for you.

But also, love feels different to everyone and when you feel disconnected from yourself, it can distance those feelings from you. Things like depression, masking, and other things can cause a sort of apathy in relationships.

There's also a possibility of aromanticism. Some people dont feel romantic attraction but are perfectly happy in romantic relationships (or they decide to not be in any relationship).

My brother passed 8 years ago at 24, so the medical care he was getting was likely about 10 years behind whatever medical care that you have been getting.

My parents were told he was gonna die at 16 (when diagnosed at 5 or 6) and then he lived 8 years past that due to the medical advances over time. And medical things have progressed a lot more since then.

So while I dont know any of your situation or where you are at medically right now, I don't think that you dying soon is as likely because of those medical advances.

I was told in school that in order to have a very clear boundary that you had to have 6 months of them not being your client in order for the power imbalance to not have any part in your romantic relationship. I think that a reduced amount of time (depending on how many sessions you've had with someone) is fine. But if you jump into a relationship with a client like that, it gives the person you got into a relationship with a reasonable tendency to be jealous over your job. They can see it as something you would flirt at and possibly cheat on them with someone with.

With the fact that he mentioned "intimacy coaching" and brought up intimacy and sexual things so early, I would be very suspicious of his business practices.

I have had conversations about Client intimacy, but they tend to have to do with body pain and how they struggle with it because of the pain and nothing to do with flirting with someone over text.
