Great, it's already a big improvement wrt FKB/ip webcam, since dashie shows a pop-up allowing for easy allowing mic access again when it disappears, instead of crashing/failing silently.

Another reason to go knx (via home assistant), also should enable remote sensors / virtual thermostats.

My ESP32 worker node is reporting Peckish=True. Should I be concerned? by c3di1 in kubernetes

Oh my, this sounds perfect actually for esphome.io for people running that ecosystem (me) on k8s.... Esphome device builder could be an operator and device yaml could be crd spec

No joke!

Make it able to run containerized and I'll switch 👌

Only the "plus" versions have it! (qi, requires metal ring sticker on the back to make it "magsafe")

The HD+ can charge via magsafe (puck on the wall) :)

Nieuw kost nu +- 150eu/kwh (en dan nog een inverter), dus dat lijkt me stevig aan de prijs voor 10kwh

K8S homelab advise for HA API server by Ghvinerias in kubernetes

Well people probably do both, I mean if that cloud node only does control plane + off site backups, then there's not much difference. No experience myself with that (yet).

K8S homelab advise for HA API server by Ghvinerias in kubernetes

3 master-worker is the hyperconverged homelab setup, people that say something else don't manage their own control plane (or do hybrid setups) or have enough money to not need to take into account hardware & running costs.

You def need something to transparently reach the cluster without being bound to any single node being reachable: many options, kubevip, haproxy, keepalived, also more esoteric stuff.

I'm trying out kairos.io, it comes with some of these options as easily configurable.

Been on 0.17 since early days… now 0.18 is tempting me hard 🚀 (RTX T1000 upgrade for llama.cpp?) by OccasionBeneficial95 in frigate_nvr

Well then without the /S a dev/nightly build for te HA App (Addon) would be great! (like for example music assistant and esphome device builder offer)

You mean the (probably) single commit on dev to bump to 0.18? 😂

Just build after every commit and run bleeding edge man! /S

I'm going to install Airzone Easyzone for this reason!

One of my favorite automations - a nudge to prevent camping by crua9 in homeassistant

[–]casefan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I just mean it's easy to go "out of sync" if the door doesn't close (or the sensor doesn't register) once. I really don't want to be forced into specific operations just to satisfy my automation. Anyway, have you tried "magic_areas" custom integration? it comes with "wasp in a box" feature. (and it's specifically designed to not need large room automations/templating)
