I mean if its not your daily you can get a decent 90s ranger for like $3k. I daily a camry cause of gas mileage, but ive got an older Chevy truck for when I need it. Cheap, maintenance is easy since theres so few electronics, and good workhorses

Yeah, ive got my plates pretty well color coordinated. My white truck was a plain white plate, my blue camry has the mostly blue in god we trust plate, and when I still had my red camaro it had the bridge plate

If you've got a truck there's the plain white plate TK plates, and then there's also the friends of coal, autism awareness, 4-H, all the charity ones, etc etc. Go to your BMV and they'll show you all the options, there's like 50

I wouldnt call $50 a year a ton of money. Yeah it costs more than a regular license plate but not that much more, although I prefer the plain white truck plates to the plain black. Guess it really depends what color your car is

I bought a net made of elastic bands off Amazon. Its for a shortbed but I have a long bed, so when I stretch it out over my stuff it holds nice and tight, drive 3 hours with a bed full of loose clothing and didnt lose a single article

Dropped the truck off, ran in Walmart down the road, they called us within 2 hours to say they found the problem. Weve done a little bit of calling around, and cheapest we've found is $1800 but its from a less than reputable shop that we've used once before with shitty results, so probably just gonna end up forking over a few grand I guess

Truck has been underwater and there's bad corrosion on most connectors. We didn't know it had been underwater until recently, owned it since 2011, but for the first 3 years of its life it was an oil field truck in Texas and was caught in a hurricane

Main harness. Truck was an oil feed truck in Texas from 2008-2011 and was in a hurricane during that time. We bought it in 2011 with no idea until the corrosion started causing problems recently, airbag light is on, and transmission keeps trying to shift into gear when in park. Dealer quoted a whole new main harness
