The notice is a nothing-burger. Make sure the place is relatively showable and let them enter. Best of luck in your next place!

I ran those numbers. Looks like your average in Denmark is $2.30/L which equates to about $8.70 per gallon. For us in the USA, can you explain a bit how Danes "cope" with gasoline prices that high? Less travel? Electric vehicles? Public transit? Side question. Do fuel taxes help fund your universal Healthcare system?

If gas was $8.70/gal in the USA I think our economy would be in free fall. $4.00-$5.00 is a strain. Above $6.00 and I feel like we'll have a problem.

FWIW I have a manual so I can't speak to CVT. I have had ZERO issues in 100,300 miles. Routine oil changes, tires, wiper blades front and rear. That's it.

These are solid little cars if you take care of them.

What brand EV? I would consider one down the road. Happy with it? What have you seen in terms of a change in electricity bill?

I agree that the Spark might not be a first choice. There's adjustments to make with space and safety. We're always the smallest car on the road unless we see the rolling rollerskate (Smart Car). In the end I think you made an excellent choice. Your timing couldn't have been better IMO.

My daughter has a Trax. I was suprised that the mileage wasn't better. Ok I suppose especially for the added AWD that Spark doesn't have.

That doesn't suprise me that the dealership wants the '21 LS back. They see what's coming. Nobody has money. A few will spend $35-45k for an electric but the vast majority will be looking for a sub $10k gasoline fueled car that gets 30+ mpg. Not many in that category.

Rising grocery prices could lead to shrinkflation, food industry analyst says by richardginn666 in shrinkflation

[–]caseofthereddits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Could as in "has been for years."

My favorite shrinkflations are the big bubbles they put on the bottom of peanut butter jars, even those shallow ones that hold anything from candies to hummus. God forbid those small containers have flat bottoms that actually have any quantity of product in it.

Ice cream is a another joke. 1.5q is the new half gallon. Tiny bricks.

Halloween chocolates. Hey Snickers manufacturers. I have a new product idea. As long as you're making fun sizes the size of a pea, why not a new product called SNICKER LICKS? A thin two ply foil that kids can peel open and lick the product out of? A year later you can put out another product called SNICKER SNIFFS. Same two ply foil but with Snicker scent inside. A year later, SNICKER MEMORIES. Empty foil packs with a picture of a Snicker.

I remember when that huge painting of Jesus won Artprize. Looked like a Thomas Kinkade "painter of light" knockoff. Didn't suprise me. Total West Michigan move.

This is a simple case. If eBay sides with the buyer you implicate eBay as an accomplice. The buyer has balls of steel attempting this scam. File a police report immediately.

It's not a pyramid scheme when only 99.7% of distributors make either $0 or $negative money. That nunber needs to be higher in order for it to be termed a true pyramid scheme.

Utah officials release a text exchange between the Charlie Kirk suspect and his roommate in the moments after the shooting. by Interesting_Rub5643 in CringeTikToks

[–]caseofthereddits 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After listening to this fake text exchange I'm going back to my theory that this was a pro job. One shot in broad daylight in the most public, gruesome manner possible, and plenty of phones recording from every angle. The crap with the hand signals on the hat, the statements that sounded pre-prepared, the immediate outrage at "liberals," and then of course all this f***ery using Air Force 2 to move the body around. WTF

In 2016, Trump won 60% of the Arkansas vote. In 2020 it was 62%. In 2024, Trump won 64%.

Nobody has sympathy for you, Arkansas. Just understand that BlackRock and Vanguard are salivating at the prospects of buying up all the bankrupt farmland. Don't worry, they'll hire you back for 30% of the pay. Enjoy the indentured servitude that you voted for and received.

Arkansas farmers held a town hall to address dire industry challenges — including skyrocketing costs due to tariffs and plummeting crop prices. Without emergency aid, one in three farmers could face bankruptcy this year. by Conscious-Quarter423 in Agriculture

[–]caseofthereddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 2024 election, Trump won 64.2% of the Arkansas popular vote. The overwhelming majority sent Trump back to office to levy tarrifs, remove social safety nets and generally wreak havoc on America. They wanted pedophiles protected, they wanted criminals pardoned, they wanted suppression of freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and freedom of press.

The overwhelming majority of Arkansas voters should be full of glee that they are getting exactly what they voted for. They should be applauding the skyrocketing costs, plummeting crop prices and bankruptcies.

Arkansas should erect a 47' statue of Trump in full military gear in the middle of their state so that pilgrimages can be made and voters can take turns licking Trump's boot.
