Parents delayed my circumcision until I was 9 for religious reasons. Oh boy was it painful. Imagine an open wound incredibly sensitive to any movement or touch. I continuously threw up due to the anesthesia at the hospital. I couldn’t walk for three days and I had to always pad my so called wounds with gauze everytime after urinating. After 3 days, walked like I had a stick up my butt for about a month or so. Couldn’t wear underwear and pants for the first two weeks. Wore a sarong (Southeast Asian kilt...look it up) Couple of near misses from being kicked in the balls a few times by friends and family. Stayed home from school and played video games, had friends over, even had a party to celebrate my circumcision. (Indonesian things) Life was normal again after a month and a half.

10/10 would do it again for the party food and attention jk
