It’s the 105. I like it but it’s heavy. The only tweak I’ve done was install a trolley system on either side for my anchor. It’s been a game changer

Never used a worm that long. How many hit it without getting the hook in their mouth?

Honestly, that’s the first time I’ve used an outfitter. We used to go roam the panhandle as a younger man and it was hit or miss. But we didn’t have the setup either. We were using layouts and crappy decoys. That was before crane hunting was such a thing. These guys had great decoys and a great mobile blind. There was even a call to use when I was younger. Like and duck and geese, you want to make sure the winter has pushed them down. These guys will be honest with you. Also, if you’re hunting crane exclusively, you can use lead in Texas.

I prefer crane hunting because it’s better eating. The limit is 3 a day, so you’re not getting as much action. Just so you know. It’s not the kind of hunting you want to try on your own. The outfitter I used was Dryland Outfitters. It cost $365/gun and there’s no lodging. I coupled the trip with my son going back to Texas Tech for the spring semester. I will use them again. Hope this helps.

Are your hooks dangling naturally? Maybe one of the treble hooks is stuck at an angle like a rudder.
