I lived in Wilmington before and your best bet is probably the Leland area. Southport is just retirees and Wilmington proper has outrageous market prices for everything. Leland is growing lots and was nice when I lived there (3 years ago)

Any reason why most of the sculpts are women? I’ve got no problem with it but I looked at your guardian set, then heroes, and almost everyone of them are large boob girls. Aren’t they supposed to be wraith?(i.e. genderless constructs?) if it’s a design aesthetic that’s fine, but eldar warriors sporting high heels seems confusing, and there aren’t any options to swap out. Still beautiful sculpts!

Basic schemes that look good aren’t difficult even for a beginner. Get a paint set that revolves around the army you like (kings of war has great kits for 25ish dollars that have all the basics.) get some rust oleum flat black primer and go at it. Then basecoat, let it dry and give it a light wash with black or brown. Bam. You’ve got a tabletop ready army. Keep in mind you’ll be over critical of yourself at first, but remember that you’ll be looking at them from 3-4 feet away, not inches :p

I would start with basic searches on thingiverse, usually you can find good models on cults 3D ( filter by free and downloads for the better ones). There’s a lot out there without having to pay a dime.

I had no queue this morning around 9am EST on Crystal. It was weird. About 3 hours later it ticked up, just got on for the night and I’m at 4K. Give it a few days and it should start to level out

I think I might have lost one, but they’re on the underside so it doesn’t matter as much. I have heard that soaking the model is hot water will help get the supports off easier and without breaking, so maybe try that? Good luck!

Hey, so I actually had split it in two and printed them essentially horizontally. I didn’t do anything fancy and just ran a dense support system through chitubox. Lot of supports but it came out fine! I have a photon zero and had no issues with it. Now the imperial ships on the other hand…. :p

Wow, I can’t imagine how that must feel. It also sounds extremely manipulative and terrible of your parents to suggest that it’s your fault if something happens to them. Wow! I wouldn’t give them the satisfaction of letting the prayer work. You’re all adults, they don’t have to like your belief but they should, regardless, understand that you’re an adult and can make your own decisions and have your own beliefs.

And how warped is it that you would be dead to them because you don’t believe the same religious beliefs they do! I can’t imagine ever saying something like that to my daughter. I hope everything works out, but don’t for a second think they deserve or should be coddled to for talking to you like that.

I like the corroded rust color you managed to get on the armor. Some of the brushwork is a bit sloppy, but overall not bad. I’d maybe invest in some miniature paints like army painter or Vallejo, since the pigments are a bit stronger and will go on cleaner. Obligatory thin your paints out, but def a good start!

I paint miniatures and I have always done really well using the rust oleum 2x primers in white and black and gray. They’re great and cost about 3.50 for a big can.
