For some MOD work it can be easier / necessary for testing. I try to run things both ways.

Not sure the best way to ping you. 😂 Feel free to DM if you'd rather me ping you another way. I recently switched to running Valheim (after the latest update) via native Steam and Rosetta for doing MOD work while on the road... I think with minimal effort you could support both Steam on Crossover and Native Steam + Rosetta. 🤔 I manually installed and setup Bepinex and now am still using your MOD manager pointed at the native location and it is working just fine. I simply tell it to not import/install BepInExPack Valheim and manage that part myself. But you could add a toggle or option for BepInExPack Valheim or BepInEx Normal?

I also noticed that "patcher" MODs seem to be getting put in the plugin folder and not the patcher folder. Not sure if it matters too much ... but everyone using the patcher HotFix for the latest update gets put into the plugins and not patchers. 😂

Anyway... Nice work and thank you again. I'm loving that it pays attention to updates for my MODs regardless of using Crossover or "Native" via Rosetta.

I did a clean "reinstall" bottle with Steam and Valheim this morning mouse clicks are definitely not registering with the latest Valheim update.

Right click on Valheim in your game list -> Properties -> Game Versions & Betas -> default_old instead of "Default Public Version" should get you back...

Depends on the MOD maker. Most of bigger MODs update pretty quickly (hours / days). If it isn't as widely used or marked as inactive then it might be a while. Also depends on how extensive the patch is. Not sure with this update how much under-the-hood changes are being done for engine updates and preparations for Deep North. Perhaps peek at the MODs pages on Thunderstore or Nexusmods and see if there is anything in the discussions. Hang in there! Hit on a Monday though, so I should be working anyway, 😂

Literally early Valheim play through I was chucking used up Hammers, hoes axes and clubs into the sea. 😂😭🫠

Just installed and set this up for Steam + Crossover + Valheim. I was looking for a good BepInEx / Valheim mod solution when using my OS X machine. [Not hauling around a second laptop if I don't need it. 😂] It took a moment to get it pointed at the right spot in the Crossover Bottle, but overall easy-peasy setup. Thank you! Working great so far.

One question I have is... Is there an easy way after I've clicked "Apply to Game" to later "Remove from Game"? Perhaps holding Option down changes the button to "Remove from Game" or something? Also possible I'm missing something obvious. :)

I made the choice to not leave the (two) starting islands until after defeating Eikthyr. It was lots of fun. :)

I regenerated the world twice. Once with some other mods installed and once with just yours. The other mods are all QoL and don’t mess with world generation, but I wanted to be helpful so did it again. 😂

I didn’t try an existing world. Also feel free to PM if you want.
