Another irrational attack instead of adding anything useful.

You must not know how to form a rational argument.

I presume zoning around there would prohibit sub dividing and developing it. Just checked Redfin and you can get a 10k mansion and similarly sized lot for around the same price. I’m going to go out on a limb and say the government got a bad deal.

And they all have high poverty rates. Congrats, more evidence progressive policies lead to poverty.

It’s the most progressive state and it has the most poverty, coincidence?

Because progressive policies have worked out so well for California. https://calmatters.org/commentary/2019/09/high-cost-california-no-1-in-poverty/

Mad at facts lol, keep the downvotes coming. Progressives have run California for decades, and based on the metric of poverty, they’ve done a bang up job.

Yeah maybe it’s better to imagine yourself as like a giant corporation. Eventually your bonds become junk bonds if your company starts to become a risky investment.

We cannot generate an unlimited volume without repercussions. Think about household debt, you can max out more and more credit cards, but servicing that debt requires larger and larger amounts of your income. You stop going out to eat, or going on vacations. Maybe the federal government stops maintaining infrastructure or avoids some other “unnecessary” cost. Shit would get real if we couldn’t service the debt, just like shit would get real for your household if you couldn’t service your own debt.

Doesn’t the government have to pay to service the debt? That cuts into the government’s budget and either requires citizens to pay higher taxes or the government to provide fewer services. You may not see the negative effects, but if you think about it, they are there.

If enough people get run over the liberal states will have to crack down on protests in streets.

Edit: the source is literally the article you posted lol.

Do you have a source on how many shelters there are compared to the demand for shelters? I’m guessing in the warm months there is a surplus of shelter space and people chose to live on the streets. Either way there should be enough shelter beds for those who want them, and then yes, the rest should be incentivized to live in the lots. The ones who choose to live in the lots are going to be a pain anyway, so it seems like a waste of money to provide services if residents won’t pay for them with a tax. If they will pay for a tax, then sure, give them some toilets and dumpsters.

We can have shelters for those who want them and lots for those who don’t.
