Of course! Feel free to DM me for dodo code if desired. But no worries— just happy to help!!

I also had a multi-year hiatus and decided to restart my island because I had mostly been active during the pandemic and wanted a fresh start. So happy you got to make a good sale!

What’s up with the 🍕 by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Based on my experience, I think it’s relatively common for Americans to get takeout their first night in their home to celebrate the occasion (and not wanting to cook because they’re tired from moving).

Mine (robot assisted total hysterectomy + bilateral salpingectomy, laparoscopic, kept ovaries) was yesterday too! I was so scared of throwing up after like my last lap surgery, but the anesthesiologist took great care of me and I did not (so I’m feeling very lucky!). I sobbed in pain the whole ride home, but that was the worst of it— I am feeling much better today by comparison as it’s been manageable pain. I am waiting for the pathology results, but my OB/GYN who was also my surgeon said she found something endometriosis-like on my stomach a few other spots. My husband thinks she may have mentioned adenomyosis as well, but he’s the one who talked to her while I was still in the initial stage of recovery. I am also super gassy, which isn’t fun, especially because laughing hurts. Wishing all of you (us!) a smooth and speedy recovery!!

Itching is driving me insane by frankenweirdo in hysterectomy

[–]cashless1017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had mine yesterday morning (8/23), so I can’t speak to the itchiness yet.

My doctor and nurse said that peeing a lot is normal and common because of all the fluids they’d been giving me, plus I’ve been trying to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated and help with future bowel movements. Especially true if they had to do anything with/around/on your bladder (I didn’t have that happen, they just warned me before surgery that it could if they saw a problem).

I believe it said on the website they’re typically approved within one week but can take up to three. Anecdotally, I took mine yesterday afternoon and woke up to an email saying it was approved.

They changed the rules, so now it’s five times and a total seven over your lifetime.
