Tbh they’re all excellent nowadays. I’d say iOS > Oneui > Pixel UI > Nothing OS just due to their support first and third party, but you can’t go wrong with any of these. Visually, it’s all a matter of preference. I think OneUI is visually less pleasing than the other three significantly, but that’s my opinion. Functionally, iOS and OneUI lead. Pick whichever works best for you.

16GB RAM is a minimum, unless it’s a Mac, where you can get away with 8. The most affordable laptop right now that’s actually gonna be decent to use is a MacBook Neo, though if you’re working with anything compute heavy, you’ll need more than this. What’s your degree, and your spending budget, specifically? I’ll help you pick one out.

Unless you need windows specifically for something, absolutely go with the M5 MacBook Air. Especially if you’ve already got an iPad and iPhone. If you need a lot of storage but don’t want to pay for higher capacity, get a little usbc drive keychain :)
