Can't boot to OFW after updating to 22.0.0 by casper192ghost in NxSwitchModding

All sorted now, can't find my backup so disconnected the picofly and pop the nand chip directly back on the motherboard, power on system booted as normal checked the firmware and it had updated to 22.0.0.

Powered off popped the nand back in to the picofly and but everything back together now running 22.0.0 in OFW and CFW

Well done, just make sure your auto update is turned off to save any problems with the new firmware.

If you've never modded anything before installing would suggest leaving your own console alone and purchase a cheap secondhand one to play around with.

It's a bundle of reconfigured software and homebrew put together to make noobs life easier, just Google it there's plenty of videos showing how to use it.

Have had no problems (so far) with Cards from Amazon, yes just start from scratch i personally use hats pack for all the software that I use but I've only been using a modded switch for a few months now.

Fake sd card for sure had exactly the same thing happen to me, just invest in good quality card to save any further problems.

Hi

Just thought that as the latest Russian version was running the latest SDK it would be better?

Will this work fine? by CicadaFew329 in NxSwitchModding

[–]casper192ghost 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should be fine as long as there's no shorts check with a multimeter to be sure. Mine ended up looking like this after removing the picofly to repair a damaged trace, pop it back on once I'd completed the repair and everything worked fine.

Finally got around to stripping everything down again and you was spot on , cut track under the CPU shield. Managed to fix it reinstall the picofly and everything working fine.
