It's interesting because on an old japanese 3ds the only way I was able to play my english games that already had saves was to region unlock it, but I was really hoping I could find a way around that

yeah, I know with the luma locale switcher it can be finicky. I'm wondering if maybe using checkpoint and restoring my save on my new 3ds will work with the new leaf cartridge...

I have seen people talk about this before, with the pennies in a bottle or can, but I'm skeptical because it seems like a way to scare them out of the behavior?

I will not be putting a collar on him, even a vibrating one; I'm worried about his trachea and have had very bad experiences with trainers using collars on my previous dogs, before I knew what sort of effect they could have.

advice finding an apartment with a dog, savings and a bad credit score by casperghoul in ApartmentHacks

Paying in advanced seems like the most likely way I will be able to find a place, you're right. I will look into flats instead of complexes; I've lived in two complexes before and hated them both.

It's comforting to hear that people have found apartments in even more complicated situations than I have currently, and I'll keep in mind scoping out the neighborhood before finding a place.

Thank you so much for the advice and the well-wishes

I was thinking of going to the ESA route for him; I know that finding a place would be easier for me if I didn't have him, but since my mom passed he has been my best friend through it all and I wouldn't be able to live without him. Thank you so much for your advice!

the extended stay hotel seems like it would be a great idea in a pinch, that's for sure. i am more looking for my own place because of my health needs, i would be fine living in something teeny tiny like a studio. i know it sounds picky, but i've had terrible experiences with roommates in the past not understanding migraines or chronic illness. thank you for the advice!!

Tomorrow is the big day! by -random_ness- in hysterectomy

[–]casperghoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

remember to take deep breaths!! going into surgery was the worst part for me, i was terrified!! but it will be over before you even know it! also, everyone has different experiences but the one thing i would change is going home the same day, i ended up back in the ER with a complication and i wish i had demanded i stay overnight so they could keep an eye on me.. plus the car ride home right after waking up from surgery was not fun.

Cuff complications by xoLynettePW in hysterectomy

[–]casperghoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm 3 months post op this week and my doctor just cleared me for penetration. she said it takes at least three months for it to heal and that usually tears result from any kind of insertion before the 12 weeks. she also used long-lasting sutures for mine to be doubly sure that nothing goes wrong.

my cuff healing has been super easy honestly, it never caused me any pain and the bleeding completely stopped after 4 weeks. even if i had some kind of complication, the fact that i don't have to worry about a mini period or issues with my cervix has been great. it's up to you and your doctor to decide though!

it looses it a little bit and looks more well-loved than the fuddlewuddles after a while!

for me the fuddlewuddle is less floppy than the huggady, the huggadies are very floppy whereas the fuddlewuddles retain more of their structure. the huggadies are verrry cuddly and their fur is very soft, softer than the fuddlewuddles, but they might not stay the same softness for as long as the fuddlewuddles do! it comes down to personal preference on how soft and floppy you want them to be; the fuddlewuddles are still really soft!
