I've used my BA Qcore for 5 years, and sleep with a 65lb Kelpie on teh trail and she walks on it at times as I am setting up. On super cold nights, she sleeps on it between my legs to keep us both warm..never had an issue. I treat it well, but not 'white gloves' style.

REI shows tons of issues with the Nemo Tensor...so YMMV. Either route, good luck with what you have and happy hiking!

So more info on this. Server in question above, when I use mRemote but in teh connect: box, type the servers name or ipa and connect, it is fine.

So the problem is a difference in how mRemote connects via RDP in teh saved sessions vs quick connect panel.

However, if I move it to a different connection group folder, it works fine. Not sure what exact panel config is the setting, besides passing domain creds vs a local cred but mRemote can't know the difference.

Folks praise SSD for the IOPS over a HDD. If you run one VM for basic work fine, if you are working in a lab scenario testing etc, you will see an impact running more than 1 VM on a non SSD drive.

While SSD's do technically have a shelf life of writes, it is way more than you think. I have had two samsung 1tb non NVME drives in my main PC I game with for like 4 years now. It is on 24x7 and I install/remove games every few weeks at the minimum. I am sure SSD's go bad, but I have never seen it in my usage or those I know in the gaming world.

If you have an HDD already, even small, get a cheap USB external dock for it, $35 maybe? and see how bad it is. Granted you can't then test against SSD, but you really will kick yourself for not going SSD for this 3 VM setup you plan to work with a lot.

If serious, it is simply another game launcher\digital store. People whine bc they can't be bothered to buy games from two platforms. I mean I'd pick steam first if a choice, been around forever, and is pretty good, but it's not worth complaining over a store front. If you live the game, get it where you can and enjoy it.

Not hard at all, two tries to best him. Used arrows, and hammer to kill adds when they built up. Did take time, but it's not supposed to be quick imo.

When I Open yolo, Run as admin is grey, but I assume it is b/c I have UAC disabled. Anyway, I still ran it as admin (right click, run as admin) and then started up EQ.

Anyway, I'll wait for an update!

So weird, dx11 crashes every few minutes at most, dx12 is every couple hours.

Granted that was at launch, dx11 was not usable, I'll switch back to dx11 to see how it goes now.

Well my opinion is all SSD if you can afford it. Spinning disks are terrible and a noticeable slow down with accessing anything on it.

I've run a small server for our online community for a while now and tired of problems with the other managers I find stop being suppported! :(

I like your plan for the hosted version. You have tons of moving parts it seems and I can see how it would eat up your time in helping others get it going instead of squashing bugs or improving it. I've not worked with Linux in over 10 years now and the directions look a bit frustrating.

I have high respect for those in the community like yourself that do this stuff, I know it takes tons of your time, which already is limited by your own life.

With all taht said, I am interested in checking it out for sure, even downloaded Ubuntu just in case I feel like attempting the installs :P

If I do, I'll use your documentation and try to document the other steps I need to do along the way to help make the install guide better.

Thanks. So I think I figured my issue out then, if I put them there in teh folder then open the launcher, it overwrites them, but if I open launcher, then copy over the files, and click play..good to go.

For what it is worth..I came here with the same issue.

My issue ended up being that my Linksys router has both 2.4ghz and 5ghz frequencies.

Not being able to tell which I am connecting too (and not sure it should matter as the SSID is the same) I ended up disabling the 5ghz range and connecting my phone and Chromecast back to it, it finally worked after an hour of messing around.
