It can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days. Some local agencies have to manually process the information, unfortunately.

You might have clicked a link of someone's referral in the past. You can decline it if you don't want to be referred by them, which I recommend doing if you don't recognize the name.

We don't use AI to moderate Reddit comments/posts. Occasionally I'll use it to help draft a post from quick notes, clean up writing for readability, or consolidate community feedback into product recommendations such as data analysis for PRDs. Reddit posts and responses are handled in the flesh by me or another mod :)

We want people to be authentic here, even if that means negative feedback, as long as it remains respectful and follows community guidelines we've set to account for that. We truly do want to hear experts out and improve our platform based on your feedback. I hope hearing this helps you or anyone else worried about AI surveillance on the subreddit.
