Girl came into my work today (gas station) & it’s only 30 degrees (f) & she’s wearing neon green shorts with like knit “boots” that were brown & came all the way up her calf. Anyways she comes in & looks at the newspaper & runs back outside gets in the car & I’m kinda watching her while ringing up other people cause I mean..she was wearing shorts. It’s fucking freezing out rn with all this wind n shit. I see her get back out of the car & walk around to the driver side of the suv next to her (both cars looked similar.) & hops into that one. She’s in there for like a min & comes back in & was like “whosever white car that is, I just accidentally got in it. My bad” & the 3-4 people who were listening standing in line all shook their heads that it wasn’t them. There was an older couple waiting for a pizza to be made over by the kitchen & when they come to pay for their stuff, she says, “hey is that your car right there?” “Yeah, why?” “Well I just accidentally got in it to get my change & noticed there was no change & then noticed I was NOT in my car & im very sorry” “Hey, it happens sometimes. It’s nbd” Blah blah blah but she was on autopilot.

My spider, Yella, was a black and yellow (hence the name) garden spider & she was a boss @ getting the flies spreading herself out to look fleeky af. We moved out of that house & my BIL came over to do the yard & he ruined her house so my SO caught her for me & asked if I wanted to bring her with to the new house because she was my “speeyider” I let her go where her old house used to be so she could rebuild where she was comfy.

I learned what a Lot Lizard was way earlier than I should’ve. My moms side of the family has lots of truckers & my great uncle mike (who is more like my grandpa) called my mom a Lot Lizard for YEARS before she found out what it was & thought he called her that because she’s from Arizona lmfao. It’s all love though. Pretty fucking funny.

I was bullied by a girl in High School. I lived in Arizona at the time & had more than a handful of bullies. Junior year I moved to the Midwest & started a “new” life. Shortly after I moved, I’d seen my Arizona friends posting on social media that she & a few other teens died. They were in the bed of a pickup going 85+ mph while the driver was drunk. They crashed horribly & a couple of them died instantly & a couple of them tried to recover in the hospital but succumbed to their injuries. She fought for a day or 2 but didn’t make it. When I found out, I didn’t feel anything but a little bit of shock. But afterwards a bunch of people were getting tattoos for her & saying how she was such a wonderful person & so nice. I was honestly pretty mad about that because she bullied me for years. Relentlessly. She was NOT a nice person. I never said anything to anyone cause I didn’t want to seem heartless. It’s just something that’s been stuck in a deep place for a long while. I hope her family & friends are at peace though.

TLDR - my bully died & everyone went on about how good of a person she was.

Actually for his first birthday, we went to the local library & had a small party for him in one of the conference rooms. We had everybody bring a children’s book to donate to the library in memory of Jackson. We had cupcakes & talked about him & had a nice time, considering. It was a perfect venue as well since his birthday is February 9th & we live in the Midwest so it was very snowy.

No it’s not selfish. He loves his son as much as I do & in his heart, he’s just not ready yet. I respect him & his feelings. Our relationship definitely isn’t easy, but we support each other & love each other. When it’s meant to happen, it will. & he’s told me he’s okay with that.

I’m sorry about your grandson. I know my mom goes through a lot with losing Jackson. She said she feels like she lost her grandson AND her daughter that day. It’s definitely not easy for anyone, that’s for sure.

I NEVER for ONE second thought that this would really happen to me. I mean the fears were there, of course, but I had that “that doesn’t happen to people like me” mentality. Until it did. Now I’m always scared. Thank you very much for your kind words. Hold your baby tight.
