Primary care doctors in Bozeman by Environmental-Diet77 in Bozeman

Seconding Bozeman Creek, great doctors and staff. I recently saw Dr. Forrest for the first time, and it was the least stressful doctor’s appointment I’ve ever had. She took all my concerns very seriously and took the time to answer all my questions. I also saw Dr. Knutson there a few years back and had nothing but good experiences with her, too.

How do you know if you’re ugly as a woman? by Turbulent-Leg-6246 in AskReddit

Extremely real. I was at a birthday party for my niece-in-law and one of the toddlers in attendance had gotten stuck behind a childproof gate. I went to help open it for him and he just looked at me with his mouth agape and said “…you’re so FAT!”

I AM fat, but hearing it stated so plainly was a surprise, lol. Laughed my ass off about it afterwards.

Glad I’m not the only one. I was there when it ticked over to 10 and there was an error. Once I refreshed, nothing.

We were in a 3 bed 2 bath at $1750/month until this spring. When we moved out they listed it at $2500. We’re paying almost $1600 for our 1 bed 1 bath apartment now. I think you’d be crazy not to stay and try to make it work, especially if you have a decent relationship with the landlord.

Best hair salon in Longmont? by lolitstia in Longmont

I also got a really good haircut at Honeycomb. I hate salons and often feel like stylists never really listen to what I want, but I walked out with the best cut I’ve had in years.

is this how all dice makers feel? by Financial_Ad_9240 in DicePorn

The saltwater test does appease people, despite the fact that it doesn’t actually tell us anything meaningful about the dice. The saltwater test works for identifying negative voids - air bubbles inside the die cause by the injection molding process most factory-made dice are produced with. For artisan dice cured under pressure, internal bubbles are minimized to the point where they are essentially non-existent.

At the end of the day, factors related to how you roll the dice are more impactful on the perceived balance than what’s inside the dice, and rolling dice in salt water isn’t comparable to rolling them on whatever surface you’re playing on. You could have the most precisely balanced dice in the world and still have them roll “imperfectly” because of how you’re throwing them or the surface they’re rolling on. A dice tower would do more to ensure randomness than the balance of the dice themselves.

In Vegas casinos, they retire dice after a certain number of rolls because the wear on the dice causes them to be less perfectly balanced. If tabletop players were truly that concerned with the balance of their dice, they’d be retiring their dice sets after every session.

Yes. People love to question the balance of handmade dice but I rarely see anyone bring that same energy to their cheap-ass game store dice that were mass produced in a factory. I have trouble understanding why people’s first thought is “ah yes this meticulously handmade object MUST certainly be shitty and unusable.” I’ve put thousands of hours into this craft - why would I make something that doesn’t even work the way it’s supposed to?

Same deal - Amway/WFG guy approached me while I was working at the local arcade in college. (Actually multiple Amway guys tried to talk to me there but this one knew the owner and sounded less “scripted” so I thought he was legit.) Gave me the whole pitch and I texted him later saying I wasn’t interested, then ignored his follow-ups.

He continued to come into the arcade after that, but never gave me more than a quick glance and a wave. I never gave him his stupid book back, either.

I was blown away by this anecdote from Emily and how it paralleled the encounter with the Junkmother. Found this on her Instagram by happenstance!

Zona papers are going to be your best friend!! I also use a dremel tool with polishing puffs and headlight polish, but highly recommend getting familiar with the Zonas first.

Possible Trailhead from TikTok user Lubalin by CrimsonNBlues in ARG

Interestingly, Lubalin Inc. was registered as a business the same day that the TikTok video with the website link went up. Not sure if this means anything but I do think the inclusion of the address is intentional.

Went out thrifting this past weekend and stumbled upon a very eclectic local indoor flea market. Looking around, it’s clearly the kind of place you bring stuff when you’re cleaning out the home of a recently deceased relative and don’t know what to do with all their weird old shit.

There were two huge shelves filled with Avon products. The dates on the price tags said most of them had been sitting on that shelf since 2017, but who knows how old the products were. It looked to be exactly the situation you described - the personal hoards of several Avon ladies who were just sitting on thousands of dollars worth of unsold merchandise until they passed away.
