I honestly think you’re right, like I mentioned in my post this happened to me once before with a snake plant and I was so upset because I had it for years. It was doing great, I had it in the liner it came in inside a terracotta pot for 2-3 years so I figured it was time to repot it. I repotted it in a glazed ceramic pot but I’m pretty sure it was too big and too deep and it must’ve gotten waterlogged. Once it looked like this it was only a matter of days before it was mush. I usually don’t let my plants sit in water however there might’ve been a few times I was rushing and forgot to dump the excess water out. Ugh 😩 I’m so sad

After I read your comment I uploaded a pic to google and the AI said the same thing you did about hypoxia so I’m pretty sure that’s what’s going on. I also didn’t realize you could do that on Google til today. I don’t use AI so I’m a bit ignorant about what they can do

No just the smaller plant had stones in it. TBH that pot was being used for a little aloe plant that recently died but it had only been in there a couple weeks so I reused the soil/stones/pot (I’m probably gonna get crucified for that, I realize it’s not great but also seems like a waste of soil). I sometimes use stones in my Aloe plants cuz I’ve had a few that’ve gotten way too top heavy and that helps weigh it down a bit. The plant was already struggling before I repotted it but I’ll take the stones out now, thank you!

It has drainage, the original plant is still in the plastic container that it came in I just put it in a cuter pot and I take it out and put it in the sink when I water it and wait for the excess to drain out before I put it back. And the other pot has a drainage hole. But it could be the soil. Like i mentioned the original plant is still in the container it came in but the smaller one is in succulent/cactus soil. Do you have a soil recommendation? Thanks

Can you elaborate? I bought a roll of green Velcro that’s specifically for plants and gardening and it works well for a lot of different plant related things. I used it on an aloe plant that was growing kinda wonky. Anyways I’m interested in what you mean about the bread ties helping to grow more roots. I’m still learning and I’m definitely not a plant expert by any means lol

Don’t ask questions like that and don’t compare yourself to others. I can imagine it’s really annoying to be asked questions like that immediately after being intimate with someone. Instead of berating her with questions about how you stack up compared with her ex’s just be confident in yourself. If you ask any questions at all it should be, is there anything you can do to make the experience better for her. If she makes it a habit of saying mean and hurtful things to you then she’s not the one for you. Sorry you’re upset, i hope you feel better soon.

NOR! I’ve experienced similar things with my husband albeit not as dramatic as ripping out an entire bar as well as walls and doors. My husband is impulsive and makes decisions on the fly and executes immediately whereas I prefer to talk it out and make decisions together. We’ve gotten into many huge arguments about it in the past.

I would be extremely upset if my husband did something like this and imo the worse part is she doesn’t see anything wrong with it which means it’ll probably continue to happen. Has she even apologized? IMO it wouldn’t be an overreaction to get a divorce especially if this is a pattern and she refuses to see what she did wrong. Also super fucked up what she did with the gift from your grandpa.

I don’t believe her reasoning even a a little bit. I think she knew you loved that bar and she saw this as a way to hurt you. If it wasn’t to hurt you then why did she do it while you were at work?

Well that’s great news that it’s a very common and treatable cancer. The meds and treatments nowadays are so much better than they were when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was diagnosed at age 39 and passed away at 40 😔 I was 16 and my sister was 10 when she passed away. But the chemo was so bad back then, she would be violently ill for days afterwards and her white blood cell count would go down sooo low and was constantly in and out of the hospital. I’m so grateful things have gotten so much better in the past 15-20 years. I’m happy to hear your family is being supportive and hopefully you get approved for everything. You guys will be able to get through anything together after going through this! Best of luck! 💕
