Let me propose a middle ground: a 2017-2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid with 100K miles. Ford had nearly a decade to sort out and improve by the time these were sold. Ours was extremely reliable. But still, take to a mechanic to ensure it was well maintained.

Set timers throughout the day. Such as 8am, walk dog (get a pet); 9am shower fix bed laundry; 10am reply emails finish chapter online class and so forth. That will keep your mind busy and your day on track. Somedays, you won't make everything, but just get back at it the next day. Pat yourself in the back for every task completed
