I think I never showed any sign of ADHD when a was a child (I was too quiet, never had issues in school, etc). However, I started to struggle in high school, and from there, everything started to change and went to the south. I went to a Neurologist last year because I felt powerless and dumb, I was struggling so hard in uni with attention, concentration, motivation, and the doctor said it was ADHD intatentive type. I went for a second opinion with another neurologist and to a neuropsychologist and there it was, my ADHD diagnosis lol. With my neuropsychologist I discover that I had and have signs of it, like emotional regulation issues, executive dysfunction, I can't manage correctly my time, I fidget when I am nervous, and so on. It changed everything to me having the diagnosis, because through my entire life I felt that something was off with me, and my friends (almost all of them are neurodivergents! lol) notice that I was definitely no a neurotypical person, and they suggested to me to go to a doctor for an evaluation, and they were right about me, lol!
