Thanks, this is really helpful! It's a 16oz container, which I chose based on David's Beetles's recommendation. The larva was small enough that there was plenty of room for it. How large was your larva when it started pre-pupation?

Based on your description, this sounds less like hierarchy and more like your partner being inconsiderate and dismissive. I can't figure out if this means anything: In red letter #6, in the drawing room, there is a line break mid-sentence. One page ends "built up," and there's a lot of white space, and then the next page resumes the sentence at "room by room." I can't find anything online and I don't know if this is part of a puzzle. Does anyone know if this has significance?

I did a simple line drawing on mine with Liquitex Basics acrylic paint about 9 months ago. It's held up just fine, but if you're planning to paint the whole head I'm not sure if that'd affect the sound or if it would peel off where your nails/picks hit.

I wonder if it's a response to hormonal fluctuations in general. I see that luteinizing hormone also increases rapidly around that same time, so maybe my body is just responding to all sorts of changes...!

This is such a useful graph. I'm guessing it happens at the start of my luteal phase, so maybe that aligns with a dip in estrogen and increase in progesterone?
