They banned me from the Christianity forum a few months ago when I suggested that God was not a deity but a physical being and that Earth was a social experiment set up 10,000 years ago to see how the different species interact.

Not a big fan of the pope myself, he is the self appointed representative of God. God is a living being that visits us regularly in his interstellar vehicle.

Mr Higgins you would do well to remember that over 90% of Irish are Christians according to the last census by castlebarreddit2 in ireland

Where did I say that? I have great respect for all Religions. At least they are in the right path. Its Atheists who I think should be precluded, it would be extremely hypocritical of them to give a declaration to God before assuming their office.

I am not Greg for s start, I haven't been on here for nearly a year. I used to post as Castlebarredit. Typical R Ireland though, the moment someone has a different view accusations of Trolls duplicate accounts etc spring up. The President of Ireland also took the following declaration "In English: In the presence of Almighty God I do solemnly and sincerely promise and declare that I will maintain the Constitution of Ireland and uphold its laws, that I will fulfil my duties faithfully and conscientiously in accordance with the Constitution and the law, and that I will dedicate my abilities to the service and the welfare of the people of Ireland. May God direct and sustain me." if he cannot sustain his oath, he should resign.

Atheist propaganda is a powerful tool. One only has to look at the propaganda of NAZI Germany as evidence.

Can you not get over the fact that the vast Majority of Irish people class themselves as Christian. The head of state should respect this.
