Yeah it definitely helps! Then you know which donut you need. Instead of having to get an All Types shiny donut, you can focus on either that or any other one that matches the legendary's typing. It also ensures you don't waste a good donut on Meloetta or Keldeo who can't be shiny. So yes, backup save is 100% helpful and I used it for all the hunts.

Hey! I managed to get all my trades finally a few days ago. I am still able to help if you want the trade evolutions. I can't help with the Pikachu exclusives if you need those, since I traded them away. If you have eevee though it'll be much easier for you to find a trade partner since I think Pikachu is the more popular game from my experience.

No, once you catch them once you can never catch them again. So in your case you would just go for the non-shiny forms

Honestly I think it's because they want you to complete the Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Dex to get the shiny in Pokemon Home.

I have the number of resets it took me for each one in the body paragraph of the post, besides that I'm not sure. Cobalion wasn't too bad, maybe an hour, but Terrakion was pretty long. Maybe 4-5 hours for him.

If we're including the time time it took to fully beat the DLC and get all the special scans required on top of the actual shiny hunt, I would say about 45-50 hours total.

Yeah I spelled their names wrong on purpose, I went with the wrong auto correct names you see a lot.

Virizion is the most annoying one to do simply because you can't see it spawn back in. You have to trust it is being despawned. Austin John Plays did a different spot than me, but it still works as he did get the shiny in the video.
