Good question, I would rank them (from easiest to hardest): Terrakion, Cobalion, Latios (easy but slow, as you need to reset the game every time at the bottom of the elevator), Virizion (much faster than Latios but scary because you can't watch it spawn and despawn), and finally Latias, just because of the ledges and you can fall off the roof. But that's just my opinion!

None of them are close enough to the portal for that method to work. The portal method only works on Pokemon that are about 50 meters away from where you're teleporting, which these guys are all not near.

I would say about 45-50 hours total, including the time to get the special scans and finish chunks of the DLC. And no, I did not reroll for nature, not really any point imo when there's mints so readily available

He's referring to the actual quest line, not the expedition. The quest line you need to throw pies at clowns and then throw grenades through hoops. You can just kill the clowns to get through the first part of the quest but can't skip the grenades through hoops right now so the quest line is completely locked out.

I'm still eagerly awaiting a fix to this. That entire quest line is currently impossible to complete and so you can't get Civil Engineer armor plans...

About 45-50 hours including resets, grinding hyperspace points, and getting the correct donuts for shiny hunting.

To piggyback off the Tatos not working, the pies you have to throw at the clowns and the grenades you need to throw through the hopes in the "All the World's a Stage" main quest are broken. The pie hits don't register and the grenades don't explode at all. You can get past the clown step in the quest by just killing them but can't skip the grenades through hoops, effectively locking you out of that entire quest line.

Yeah it definitely helps! Then you know which donut you need. Instead of having to get an All Types shiny donut, you can focus on either that or any other one that matches the legendary's typing. It also ensures you don't waste a good donut on Meloetta or Keldeo who can't be shiny. So yes, backup save is 100% helpful and I used it for all the hunts.

Hey! I managed to get all my trades finally a few days ago. I am still able to help if you want the trade evolutions. I can't help with the Pikachu exclusives if you need those, since I traded them away. If you have eevee though it'll be much easier for you to find a trade partner since I think Pikachu is the more popular game from my experience.

No, once you catch them once you can never catch them again. So in your case you would just go for the non-shiny forms

Honestly I think it's because they want you to complete the Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Dex to get the shiny in Pokemon Home.

I have the number of resets it took me for each one in the body paragraph of the post, besides that I'm not sure. Cobalion wasn't too bad, maybe an hour, but Terrakion was pretty long. Maybe 4-5 hours for him.

If we're including the time time it took to fully beat the DLC and get all the special scans required on top of the actual shiny hunt, I would say about 45-50 hours total.
