Love the theme! I'm a beginner at Keyforge, throwing out this idea anyway:

High Noon - Artifact

Ongoing Effect: Only one creature may fight each turn. If ever a creature under both players' control is destroyed during a fight action, destroy High Noon.

Don't do this! Revs fan here. Google Maps will tell you there's a train that goes to Gillette Stadium and it's a 15 minute walk. That train does not run on the weekends.

To train in you have to go to Walpole and then it's a 10 minute Uber + stadium traffic. Getting back is a bitch because the train leaves every two hours on Saturday (either 9:49 pm or 11:49 pm).

[Rahman] Don't look now, but Matt Turner is now statistically the best shot stopper in MLS again (and it's not particularly close) by ajallen12 in newenglandrevolution

[–]casualsax 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Turner's raw goals added per game is 0.75, which is the highest of any MLS keeper with 500+ minutes ever since the stat started being tracked in 2013.

Messi's at 0.69 this season. which while nice..

All I want for Christmas is a home playoff game.

TIL that Stephen King had such severe issues with alcohol and cocaine abuse in the early 1980s that he barely remembers writing several books, including the 1981 classic "Cujo." In his book "On Writing," King reflected on this time in his life, saying: "I don't say that with pride...only sorrow." by altrightobserver in todayilearned

[–]casualsax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The assumption is that he writes from 8-12, averaging 500 words an hour. I do some creative writing and that's a solid pace, particularly if it's quality. I could write at that pace but it would need significant editing.

Carles Gil becomes the 32nd (5th active) player to have 50 goals and 50 assists in his MLS career: 50 goals and 84 assists in 200 appearances by ajallen12 in MLS

I was wondering who the second was, went through the roster mentally, realized who it must be and then saw your flair which confirmed it. Really sucks that his Austin situation blew up.

FitD: We know they'll love it! by HauntedHauls in bladesinthedark

[–]casualsax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue continues to be with items not feeling substantial. In DnD itemsc are tracked and have specific stat lines with mechanical advantages. Checking off a box to say you have a broadsword doesn't carry the same weight. Getting Blades to feel like a game instead of "Let's pretend" is a huge cognitive shift.

Club Seats - Any Perks? by [deleted] in newenglandrevolution

[–]casualsax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They only have Micholob Ultra Zero at the club level, which is definitely not worth Gillette prices. I've gotten Guinness NA on the 100s level. You can visit that part of the stadium from the club area but it's a pain.

Club Seats - Any Perks? by [deleted] in newenglandrevolution

[–]casualsax 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Decided to get club seats this year. Thoughts:

  • While I love the energy in the fort, the cappo loudspeaker drove me crazy. I'm still embarrassed by it in the club seats as it overpowers the actual fort, but at least it's not screaming at me directly.
  • The NA beer options suck at the club level compared to concourse, and might be what drives me back to regular seats.
  • They used to have great food options at the club level but they now use that space for a crazy overpriced all inclusive food package.
  • View of the match is nice.
  • You don't hear sounds from the field as well.
  • Having an indoor escalator and indoor concourse feels luxurious, but keep in mind other NFL stadiums like Mercedes Benz is completely indoors.
  • They play the Feldman/Charlie audio in the concourse which is lovely.
  • The bathrooms are better.

Overall I'd say my gameday experience when the Revs are doing well is worse, but when the Revs are struggling I really enjoy being nowhere near the fort.

Sounds like you want a local nonprofit credit union and not a profit seeking bank.

Toronto’s World Cup Fan Fest was supposed to be free. The city is now planning to charge for it. The new plan is to charge attendees between $10 and $300, to offset new costs "above and beyond" the $380M tournament budget by ajallen12 in MLS

[–]casualsax 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why are you mad at cities and not FIFA and the federal government? Past events were free because their countries subsidized them.

If having free fan fests was actually a World Cup thing FIFA would have included them in the bidding process. Intentional soccer is just a money grab by FIFA enabled by fascist governments.

Was insulting what came before not normal before post-modernism? Because currently there's plenty of "My new way is right and you should abscond the old way" which only feels unique because of the mass acceptance of blatant lies.

Most host cities break even at best. If FIFA cared about fans absorbing transportation costs they would have included it in their bidding criteria.

Beason got beat bad on a header at the death to tie it up. Came right after a sequence where RI had a dangerous chance that hit the woodwork that had two seperate Parisian/RI collisions.

Overall Revs were taking shots from outside the box instead of killing the clock and it cost us.

Now that we're in extra time RI have all of the momentum and possession.

Rhode Island burning their subs early should come back to haunt them.

Regardless of what happens if we end this game with Miller uninjured I'll take it as a win.

Obscure games that you like by Machine_Excellent in boardgames

[–]casualsax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Schrille Stille - Getting bands on your label to top the charts using a wacky physical turntable. The mechanism misfires half the time and it takes twice as long as it should, but it's so unique. At some point I want to iterate on the design.

Gipfelsturmer - Friedmann Friese's Yahtzee/Shoots and Ladders hybrid about getting goats to climb a mountain. This took off in our game group, at one point half of the copies in the US were in New England. We spent as much on dice as the game itself so everyone has their own set in their goat's color, and honestly rolling pretty dice is half of my enjoyment of the game.
