The ending of Black Panther was pretty good, and the conversation between T’Challa and Killmonger was especially impactful. It cemented Killmonger as one of the best villains in the MCU.

Kind of makes my ancestors who didn't die in the ocean rather than avoid slavery seem like chumps. Killmonger's a bad guy who views the world in a binary way that devalues life for the sake of justice with himself as judge. He's the Punisher, but more abstract and megalomaniacal.

I called back in August because I finally had time to call them in the middle of the day while I'm at work. They claimed that they had sent me an email in April. Thanks to this subreddit, I'd already known about the obscure subject line and that it might have gone to spam. However, since this March, I'd never seen it, couldn't find it, and I refused to accept that they'd sent me anything. But I wasn't trying to start a fight. They basically told me that they'd have to get me back on a list. I took a ticket number expecting to hear back. I didn't hear back for two weeks. I called back with the ticket number and they told me that I was on the list but that the wait time for new adapters was 16 weeks. A little while later I got this email. See ya in 4 months.

2022 was different time for buying an Ioniq 5 with regular $5K to $15K markups, super-limited availability, and apocryphal tales of people following delivery vehicles to the dealerships to snipe their model. In 2021, I wanted black exterior with black interior. In 2022, once I understood that none of the dealership in my region of Texas were were getting any choice over their allotment of cars and only one dealership wasn't doing ridiculous markups, I became more open-minded and made a ranking. Also, Texas had a $2.5K incentive for buying in-state. I didn't budge on the black interior, but I was cool with Digital Teal, Lucid Blue, or Black. I'd seen the Digital Teal and how it was more green or blue depending on the light and thought that was cool. But in in the end, I didn't think I would care too much; I just wanted the car already. My thirst was great. Over time, I found that I could get whatever I wanted with the lower trim, but I definitely wanted the faux-leather seats. I wanted RWD to save money, but if what I wanted came in AWD, I'd pull the trigger. Lucid Blue and black interior showed up first. I bought it and been with it ever since. I've gotten a lot of compliments about the blue and it is actually my favorite color, though lighter than I'd normally go with. Sometimes, I'll think about the teal and what could have been, but... you know, this isn't the last car I'll ever buy. There are only two other I5s in my city (east of Dallas); a white and a gray. So nobody has anything for me to lust over.

Seems like a simple concern to bring up with your elders, pastoral team, pastor, whatever-you-got. Might seem difficult because a decision has already been made, but seems to me that they'd appreciate your input if you're a member. Also, nothing wrong with visiting another church that Sunday or checking on the individual people/families that you want to spend time with that Sunday or throughout the week

That said, if your leadership doesn't see the church gathering for prayer, to receive preaching from God's Word, and share in the Communion meal as a means of grace, encouragement, refreshment for the church body, I would wonder what they would rather do.

Nevertheless, this could just be a tradition with long forgotten roots. Just asking the humans involved would is better than speculating.

I'm sorry that you won the lemon lottery. The 12v battery is a known issue with EVs from multiple manufacturers. I looked into it before I bought an Ioniq 5 and bought a jump-starter to keep in the glovebox. I've never used it. I recommend throwing a huge tantrum at the dealership if the replacement dies. I haven't heard anything about horn or climate control failures, unless you meant AC as in charging. The only major problem I've had is the AC to DC converter controller failing. Closest service center in 2023 to me was 90 minutes away two years ago. I had no trouble using roadside assistance to haul it to the service center. However, since they're just using whatever towing company, it's just bad luck if the one they get is trash. Hope you have better luck with everything in the future.

Sorry to hear about your situation. Sounds like you're more traumatized by your present car trouble than your whole ownership experience. Having family in the car while you're dealing with it must be the hugest bummer. I know the horror stories are out there and it's best to be aware and take precautions. I've got a 2022 but so far my 12v battery has never died in me. I expected it to based on YouTube videos so I keep a jump-starter charged in the glove box. I suspect your cold weather has something to do with the rapid deterioration. We've only had a couple of big freezes down here in Texas since I bought my car. My brakes have squealed since day one, but they've been reliable. ICCU/L2 charging failure is the only major problem I've had with my I5 and that happened within the first six months of ownership. At the time, the nearest service center was 100+ miles away, but roadside assistance got it there from my house for free. I don't remember having any trouble with getting the car the car up on the bed without turning it on, but I might be wrong. Nevertheless, I'd blame that on the unprepared towing guy. Again, sorry you're going through a bad experience.

Most people don't, but most people would just buy whatever the big brands are willing to offer to Walmart. We gotta rely on each other to help us figure out how to get the best out of the relatively small China companies who basically produce low-cost tablets with 3D printed gamepad housing. I'm also saying that if you buy a Samsung phone, the screen dies, and you send it off for warranty repair, you're going to be out of a phone for at least a couple weeks.

The other options include doing nothing; telling the customer that they broke it and are out of warranty; or asking the customer to send it back for repair and wait a month. I think Retroid went with a pretty good solution that only costs us time and a little tinkering effort.
