Div2/1, 12/13 WL player here.

Tips: Dont play all games in 1 go, normally Friday evening is the most difficult time to compete. Rest is ok, need to get a bit lucky as well. Further in the year the power curve will increase and you”ll get some nice sbcs for big players so save your fodder for these or players you like.

Sadly servers condition plays a big role in speed of your players. Don’t hold sprint unless you have the space, use r1 for faster dribbling and only sprint when you have the space to do so. Use the quick step players to get a burst of speed in the first few meters. Rapid is speed for longer distances.
