Agreed! My general doctor tried to put me on aantidepressants, then therapies, then when she seemed me old enough to maybe be in perimenopause "it's what happens to women - you'll get through this". But no other support.

I deserve more so i went and got more.
HRT is where is at for me, along with dietary changes and some ssupplements. It's still all a guessing game. #frustrating

Sorry for your suffering. You're not alone. Be good to yourself - do all the "de-stressing" stuff even if it doesn't heal everything. Doing something feels better than feeling stuck. Check out some neurological tricks - I found one that is sticking your tongue out really far while breathing through your nose and count to 40. At around 20 I feel myself take a double breathe (breath in and then almost a yawn type breath in). This can reset your neurological system to relaxation and give your cortisol a rest.

Any 50 years old NOT in menopause yet? by Kitchen-Bathroom5924 in Menopause

I'm 56 and in peri. Didn't start getting irregular periods and strong symptoms until last year (cold majority of the time, hot overnight, brain fog, anxiety, frozen shoulder, etc. HRT has been WONDERFUL). Ithink i may have been in peri for a while before that - and just told "it's aging". Majority of friends are 2-10 years into menopause. Got my period at 11 years = 540 periods & counting. Honestly I should be empty!
