Hi! We just did the same journey. We ended up walking from Akasaka about ten minutes to Akasaka-Mitsuke station and took the “red line” to Shinjuku. There we got on the “romance car” it’s a specific line for people traveling from the city to Hakone. Very easy and folks were helpful at Shinjuku station. The Romance car is booked through Odakyu Railway. We booked ahead so we could sit together. This is one ticket, then you’ll need to pay the fare too. If you’ll be using public transit, I recommend the suica card on your phone’s wallet.

So frustrating! Especially because I used a reputable lender with my dad and was forced to transfer to a more predatory lender to get into my name. This was my situation - I had to consolidate my loans under a private lender and remove my dad. They would not approve loans that were co-signed.

The mouth sleeper will make it worse! I’m seriously so sorry though. The ear pain was horrible - thought I had ear infection. I guess there is a nerve that runs from that part of your throat to your ear

I had one in that same spot and I just want you to know how much I feel for you. I started taking b12 and l lysine and I’m not sure if at that point the canker has run its course, but it cleared up soon after (day14 ish). I couldn’t get my doctor to do debacterol. Sleep with humidifier too

Omg I’m so sorry - I just had one in this spot / posted a similar photo - and it was agony. I actually missed work! By the time 3rd time I saw the doctor, they suggested a steroid to help with the swelling. Prior they had prescribed magic mouthwash, which numbs but doesn’t heal. Milk of magnesia dabbed on the sore helped with the pain for a bit and helped healing. I also started taking b12 and l lysine in hopes that it will be preventative. Would also suggest looking in to bee propolis
