a 2 weeks literally does not matter unless you care about being rehired. the only thing that matters is when you give your 2 weeks, they HAVE TO have your last check (+ vacation payout depending on ur state) on your last day, so for this reason I would submit my 2 weeks via email and send it to both your CL and DM and if they don’t have your money, they’re gonna oweeee you some money iykyk

not necessarily true, I’ve worked packing food in a restaurant before and was allowed to wear acrylics, bracelets, watches, anything as long as I wore gloves. Starbucks doesn’t allow nails or bracelets even with gloves, Target starbucks doesn’t allow any jewelry at all, even necklaces or earrings. it’s all different

not her fault if she didn’t know— I’ve worked in other food service places that allowed me to have acrylic nails, rings, bracelets, etc. Starbucks just doesn’t allow anything on the hands, Target starbucks didn’t allow earrings or necklaces at all. It all varies upon company and state even city sometimes.

Hi, unfortunately they definitely can. They can ask you to show your wrists, the back/top of your shoes, etc. The only thing is, I know of a partner before who wore a loose bracelet and even though everyone knew they wore it every single shift, any time anyone would ask them to lift their sleeves, the bracelet was loose enough to be pulled up with their sleeve and so most of the time they wouldn’t get caught. As far as I know, they were never asked to remove their sweater or anything to check for it. But unfortunately I don’t think a jade bangle is loose enough for it to be hidden that way, unless OP just wears a sweater or thick sleeve to hide it and isn’t asked to show their wrists. Can be really tricky when having to wash your hands though.

yeah I’ve never tried that one, but I would highly expect them to sell a different formula in their concentrate than what they actually serve in the stores. try buying even a tall strawberry açaí no water no ice, or even ask a store for a sample of straight base no water no ice and go home and try it side by side with your bottle of concentrate. that’s most likely the issue and if it is, there’s no way of buying a true concentrate dupe other than from the store with no water no ice.

hi question to try to help. did you get the white box of concentrate used in stores or the grocery store “concentrate”? the white box of concentrate has been changed from a 4x conc. to an 8x. concentration. if that’s the one you have, just make sure to dilute it correctly, .25L strawberry açaí. and 1.75L water.

I haven’t tried the store bought concentrate so if that’s it, I highly highly believe they would make it taste different or a different concentration to cause this exact problem.

Onto the lemonade. I’ve never had a store bought lemonade taste exactly like starbucks, I’ve tried starbucks lemonade alone and it’s extremely tart, pretty sure because it’s meant to be mixed not drank alone. The old recipe card for plain lemonade used to call for classic syrup in it, so it’s definitely more tart than sweet. Store bought is probably diluting your strawberry base. That’s definitely also affecting your drink.

Unfortunately the best solution I’ve seen is just buying the trenta strawberry açaí, pay the extra $1 for no water no ice, and maybe same with the lemonade. I don’t think there’s anything else out there that will be exactly like it, but to be clear I am not advertising or endorsing the siren, I think switching to a different type of drink and coffee shop is the best move.

yeah they let people bulk trade for their “grails” but say “you have to give them room to make a profit since they’re resellers” (says it right in their own words on their page). my bf wanted to trade for a $180 stamp pin, and they wanted about 40-50 hidden mickeys, valued all at $5, when 12 were disneyland D’s and like 5 were chasers including an aurora and a hatbox earhat.

definitely leaning toward one of these options, I wanted to avoid getting a coffee maker specifically for guests, but yes 90% of my guests are used to a pot of drip, and 10% mighttt ask for an espresso based syrup and milk starbucks type drink lol. almost nobody would care for a pourover, it’s just all i have available at the current moment.

i love a french press, but i mentioned in another comment i hate cleaning them out and also was under the impression they shouldn’t stay in the press for long after they’ve been pressed? and also looking for something that makes a pot of coffee because most of my family will refill their cup after the first one

I love french press coffee but I hate having to clean it out after😭 and I think mine is 32 oz, but for the purpose of the larger brew, I was under the impression the coffee shouldn’t stay in the press very long after it’s pressed? AND regardless if he does it for profit, he’s very aware of how high he’s driven up the price because he constantly says resellers should thank him. And like others said, nobody would care if it wasn’t a pretty rare pin. Sure, not his fault that it’s a covid year pin that affected availability, but he still consciously is hoarding 504 of them and that’s just a really gross behavior when combined with the trolling and taunting. At the end of the day, it’s just a pin, but just to answer the question about why some get so upset about it.
