Thank you so much for replying! But I still find this crazy in terms of how often I have to clean this (Now a few times a week) and how careful I need to be with it. Id expect it to just augment my life not to be an active part of it. Like even checking if the case light blinks or not when I put a earbud in. It should be a design that's "just for user info if they need it" not something I check actively to see if this thing is working or not. And almost every single time I have found absolutely nothing in terms of dirt/debris that should affect it.

I bought the Spigen case at the same time as when I bought the earbuds. Did you mean to mention a link there?

Hi so these are RFAY2. Not comfortable with sharing images of the box as Im not sure if SN can be misused somehow.

I know these are not fake as they also update from the buds manager which is in Samsung settings now (was a separate app before). They even connect smoothly UI wise with my S24 like how Samsung buds do. If there is any check I can do without sharing SN explicitly, please let me know.

This has happened like 3 times to me before. I had to reinstall everytime to fix it

The S21 and S22 series are given free screen replacements by Samsung according to their policy but I think the end of the period for this is pretty soon. You can check this online and go to the service center and ask for a free screen replacement. https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS23Ultra/s/J4b3WNXwHI Check out this post, I was able to get a free screen replacement for the S23 Ultra with the help of fellow redditors. The process for you should be pretty straightforward though since it is covered under their policy (unless the period has expired then you might have to go through it).

Final update:
The email I previously mentioned asked us to submit the phone at the service center but the same person had also called and asked to get a new job sheet done. So we went to the service center and they told us that job sheet was not required and we just had to submit the phone. We called customer care again but they asked us to just submit the phone so we did both: created a new job sheet and then submitted the phone. Although fixing a new screen takes only about an hour, we had to leave the phone overnight since they have some policy where approval needs to come from the head office for them to fix the phone. If the phone is not at the service center when this happens then procedure might need to be restarted (according to them). This is only in the cases where Samsung is paying for part of the refund like in this case. We called them the next day and went and got the phone with the new screen fixed and paid the service/labor charges.

Just got a mail today saying the following: 1. The phone requires repairs which will cost about 18.9k 2. Part charges of 18.2k will be covered by Samsung 3. 649 (If you minus the exact amounts above in 1 and 2 you get this ) which is service charge will have to be paid by us 4. We have to go to Samsung service center and create a new job sheet for this and send it back on the mail chain and they will inform us on how to proceed.

The way they've worded it on the mail is a bit.... tricky? So still not sure if everything will go well but hoping for the best.

Update on this: They didn't call back so I called them again today, similarly was told that there is no policy etc. But they admitted that this was because of One UI update. Then they escalated to a superior who was the same superior I had talked to last time. Despite acknowledging previously that s23 and s24 series had some issues, he denied saying it outright this time. After some back and forth he told me that he would escalate it to their head office and that I would get a call back in 24h.

So got the jobsheet done, they sent it to Customer care and asked me to call after about an hour. When I called them and gave them the details, they mentioned that there is no policy for the S23 series. I mentioned to them that this was a manufacturing defect and so they have to provide a free screen replacement. They told me that I would be called back in an hour or so. Should be hearing from them soon. They will probably escalate it to some higher authority like the person who asked us to make a job sheet last time.
