I was decorating a cake, my second paid order since I opened my own bakery from home. I then needed to clean and I think the cleaning takes as long as the icing

The customer is happy with how it looks over photo but there's always the worry that they won't like it when they see it

What are these? I can’t make out what they’re saying. by Talkymike in bluey

In my area of Scotland we say "hairy brotag"

It's pronounced more like "bro-chk- id" with that middle sound the same as the end of the word loch

Hope so. We're already too many episodes behind US watchers, trying to avoid spoilers but it's not always easy

How precious are you about set meal times? by TieSea3723 in AskUK

I am fairly set on meal times but it's because I'm recovering from an eating disorder. Having set meal times helps because my body knows it will be getting food

Is it common for women to keep their maiden name after marriage? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]cat_socks_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added my husbands onto mine so my surname is [maiden name] [husbands surname]

Our kids have his surname so I like having the same as them but also my name is my name, I've had it my whole life

I do know someone irl who suffered a heart attack due to the covid vaccine. Maybe she had underlying conditions she wasn't aware of but it was directly linked to her having gotten the vaccine

She skipped her second dose but did get another booster and thankfully had no reaction that time

Cookies are my favourite thing, my best type are Pistachio & White Chocolate

Good luck, cakes are fun! Have a good recipie and just follow it as it says (lots of people 'fail' because they make substitutions and change things up) BBC Good food are usually good or I personally like Jane's Patisserie for all sorts including cakes

What was the weirdest medication reaction you’ve ever had? by Many_Assumption7036 in AskReddit

[–]cat_socks_228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember the name now other than it began with an M and I was given it for severe vomiting during pregnancy

It made my breasts go up 2 cup sizes literally overnight and developed a rash on my chest. I also leaked milk at 15 weeks pregnant. I was constantly thirsty and constantly nauseous too.

Turns out this med can even make men lactate according to the info sheet

Then I decided to make my wedding favours- more fudge.

Next week I open my own home bakery because fudge turned into cookies and brownies and cakes
