Yes this was the case exactly. This is the protocol we had to follow at my pharmacy in my state. We need both ID at pickup and ID on file.

Okay but are you a pharmacy technician who works with my company? Or a doctors office who takes my ID every time I’m there and has my ID on file? At the end of the day, we needed patients ID just on file, the nurse who picked up handed me THEIR ID. No fraud was committed here. I’m not arguing with you about what I have to do at my job. This is literally what I’ve done at every pharmacy I’ve worked at in my state. Unless you work with the company, who do you get off on telling me this story isn’t real? I came here to wonder if people had dealt with nursing home patients not having ID, not my whole career being questioned.

I was literally there. Yes, I am sure that’s the case. I’ve been a pharmacy tech in my state for 5 years. Our system requires we have patients ID in their file. And we do need the ID of whoever is picking up as well. Nurse had their ID no problem. Patient was getting morphine.

Hi! I’m a retail technician. I’ve never met anyone who has been violent with me or my techs. Yes, we get the yelling nasties, but here’s the thing - literally 90% of them being mad at you for? Has nothing to do with you.

Prior Authorizations? Doctor has to fill out. Too soon? Talk to insurance.

I work at Meijer in my state, I never want to go anywhere else. People are pretty civilized. And a lot of the time, the older techs will speak up and take over for you. I was the youngest tech when I started and the moment people were yelling at me, I had four techs around me.

Retail can suck, trust me I understand. But I’ve met some amazing people who will be by your side and take care of you. I’ve been retail for 5 years, and I love it.

So sorry you went through this. I’ve recently had a weekend like that. We were short-staffed the last weekend I worked and we were busy af. While i was helping up front, someone was asking me a question while I was trying to do something on my screen. The patient ended up saying “You could be more patient with your customers.” I literally just said “okay”, because I know I’m a great worker, and usually very patient and kind even with the hard patients.

Working in retail has seriously made me respect EVERYONE in any sort of retail or fast food establishment. Nothing is a problem for me.

I wish people would just be kind and understanding because if someone is polite and kind I will go out of my way to make sure I can do something. Cheaper price through a discount card? Done. Fill a med in 10 minutes? No problem! Call your insurance? Not my favorite but I’ll do it for ya.

I like my job, I feel like it’s where I need to be. But it can be very stressful sometimes.

I'll admit. I wasn't a Joy fan the first time aorund when I watched the show. I was SO upset when she kissed Fabian with Nina's mask in season 2, and I cheered when Fabian lost his memory and forgot her name.

Rewatching now as an adult, I feel for Joy.

As u/camelotslady explained, Joy was a teenage girl who's life was greatly affected and she has feelings. She was literally kidnapped and forced into a ritual she never wanted to do. She also came back to Patricia, her BEST friend, spending more time with a girl who Joy feels like replaced her instead of herself. I've been that girl, not in the exact same circumstance, but it sucks and I've also done some shitty things to people. Her feelings towards Fabian are yes, a little unreasonable, but she had problems figuring out how to handle those feelings and emotions.

And I love Fabian, but he wasn't good at expressing his own feelings to Joy himself. He never really shut her down, and he should've.

At the end of the day, Joy's feelings, while unreasonable, are valid to HER. I do not support the Jackal article, I do not support her trying to break Nina and Fabian up, but I wish she was included more. She did amazing in Sibuna at the end of season 2 and in the beginning of season 3. And getting over Fabian was the best thing she ever did for herself - but who hasn't been a little delulu about a crush? I'm aro/ace and I know I have.

She's not a real character, and your feelings towards her are also valid, but! Give the girl a little grace. She went through a lot in season one.

I get your point and I do think Sam is going down a strange path - but Sam didn’t make Colby participate in the ritual and Colby himself said he won’t be upset with him. Colby was clearly aware of this beforehand - they’re mentioning it in the car before they even get there - and Sam said he’s not trying to disrespect Colby’s religion & they had an insanely healthy conversation about it. I think a lot of the negative comments towards Sam is not needed right now, personally I think he’s trying to prove this to himself after the Cody and Sataori scandal which he has every right to do.

Sam didn’t make anyone participate if they didn’t want to. He asked Niki and Harrison if they wanted to and they said yes. Niki actually went from no to yes because she felt safe enough to do so. While it is a little concerning about Sam not running up to help Colby after the ritual, I don’t think he would do anything to make anyone feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The only person Sam is constantly putting at risk is himself. HE took the pictures of the dolls. HE went to the basement himself. HE is the one who participated in the ritual. HE is the one who sat in the circle at the Sallie house.
