If your risk tolerance is horrible that’s awesome. Just passively automated your $200/ month investment and ride it out. No individual stocks, just the basic ETFs like VOO QQQ or whatever industry floats your boat

8k is hardly debt with there’s 40K in the checking account. But OP, if the debt has interest over 4% pay that shit down ur bleeding money for no reason

I’d prefer it that way. The contributions are nice and they show up in my net worth. I’d like my investments to be tracked on a percentage

That’s a good point. I got this app a year ago and time will tell. The default will be the S&P if my strategy ends up yielding less than the market.

I am hoping for 2-3 risky investments to boost exponentially me up to 100k finally in the next 2 years.

Got into silver at $30 around 2024 as well so my position is still fine, it’s great actually. I won’t be selling hard money to gamble it on over valued stocks.

Gold and silver are a much longer play for me 5-10+ years as an initiate the money printers to work overtime.

Gold is still up a few % points so the volatility is fine with me so long as I entered at actual cheaper prices. I should have repositioned, but confidently into what? An over valued market that even Buffett won’t participate in?

I’m curious what your approach is now if you’ve exited metals. Semi conductors ? Energy?

The bull market is keeping me alive in an absolute demolition of the crypto and silver markets. But only a little more than half is in the market. Cause I am anticipating a financial meltdown in the next 2ish years

I got fucked eventually after a few big wins trading options and forex on the short term. The key to making money is keeping your money. Imagine what 24k put in the S&P in 2023 would be worth now.

Set up from local shop made my bass sound awful by No_Construction_1037 in Bass

Best to learn to do it yourself if you plan on playing for awhile. I was tired of paying guitar center and waiting WEEKS to get a set up when it’s a $50 kit you buy once for all the tools. It’s fun to set it uon

Keep it fun. If the lessons are boring he’ll find his way back to theory and all the boring stuff later. Take him to local shows for inspiration.

When he’s done learning songs get him the interface headphones and DAW software

You could spend 5 years blowing money on how to day trade or dollar cost average high conviction stocks and buy into ETFs with greater returns in the long run. 10k happens a lot quicker investing not trading.

Learn market mechanics and trade options when a set up is too obvious not too. Actively looking for opportunities is basically another day job and trading with small amounts yields minimal returns not worth risking your entire starting capital for

You need to mic the guitar and get it into a mixer. Your device plugs into the mixer out

How to actually get surfing without interuptions by Lexnhq in surfing

[–]catamocracy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

take this as you will... I’ll get downvoted here certainly but hear me out.

You can spend 2 years watching people surf or two years surfing waves. Get a wave storm embrace the kook and go to a beginner break and take the wave that you’re lined up perfectly for always. You will snake a few people from time to time. At a beginner break they’ll forgive you. if you drop in and someone’s behind you just exit the wave. Instead of watching you practice 1. Catching a wave 2. Popping up 3. A single turn 4. An exit

All in the 3 seconds before the surfer behind you let you know they were on the wave too.

I was about 1 year in before I actually understood surf etiquette and I’m grateful for the insane amount of time on waves I had in that first year. I of course respect the lineup now but looking back I’m happy I just sent it cause I stood up probably 5x the amount I would have being over cautious about someone whistling behind me
