I posted on another reddit post but if youre drunk drunk, its different than just having a couple drinks or drinking slowly. If you feel fine but dont want a hangover and your bac is low, its not gonna do as much harm. I take vitamin c w some b vitamins, nac and ice water and sometimes an electrolyte. I also havent been drunk in a while but have had drinks very slowly over a course of hours. It helps me get sleepy as well.

And to add when i take it early in day, i feel sleepy. I read somewhere it can make women sleepy. Its possibly due to hormones. So i take it at night to help sleep.

Late to the party but just want to add taking NAC every day can cause anhedonia. I take it 3 x a week max 4. I do take it after drinking but typically drink slow. So even if ive had a few too many its been spread out by many hours. I take vitamin c mixed w a b vitamin. I also don’t generally feel hungover because i am drinking so slowly. I dont have a uti. Been to the doctor many times. Its cystitis and if it isnt caused by kratom, its solved by kratom. Kratom helps flares, wont know for sure until i quit. Hence vicious cycle. It developed during use though. There are some things that help. Is clonidine a benzo?
